Just finished my first week of Insanity.

I have already noticed an improvement when doing the exercises and I'm loving it! This last work out - Plyometric Cardio Circut - I almost did the entire warm-up without stopping. I only had to stop for about 30 seconds total near the end. This is a MASSIVE improvement considering the fit test was awful.

I'm even finding myself becomming addicted to it - like I somewhat missed not working out this morning. I can only hope the effects start working on the outside too!

Looking forward to tomorrow and then a week later to do the fit test again...only time is in the way.

How is everyone else doing out there? When did you start seeing exterior results?

Hi Omni. I just started today and the Fit Test kicked my butt. I'm a long distance runner, currently training for a half marathon and thought I was in better shape than I am. Ha!

Glad to hear that it gets better. I've never done Plyometrics before and it really scares me. Ha! But onward and upward. Will post again tomorrow........if I survive Day 2. Ha!

Have you noticed any weight loss yet?
I'm not real worried about the number on the scale, but I would love to lose my belly. I carry all my weight around my waist. I'm hoping this change in my regular routine will be just what I need.

I'm very much the same - carry my weight around my mid section. I think I have noticed a slight difference but the scale hasn't budged that much. That said, it's been one week and i've had to take it slow in the beginning. But now that I'm doing more each workout / taking fewer and fewer breaks , I imagine I'll start seeing results. My friend who is on week 4 said his watch is spinning around his wrist. I'm sure it helps if u follow the diet plan as well. I'm eating more often but it's hard to follow a strict plan with work and school going on.

Good luck tmrw- let me know how u feel. The firs two days I felt like passing out after the workouts, and that was with many breaks. Now, I feel great after and am trying to finish the warmup without a break. I'm about 30 sec from doing that!!!

Just finished Power & Resistence. I forgot about the different warm up. My quads get such a work out during this routine.

I"m curious if anyone out there has to stop during the work out because of their legs rather than being winded? I played soccer most of my life and thought my legs were in good shape, but doing all of the power jumps and squats, etc, they get tired before I get fully winded. Any suggestions?

It felt great to get back into it after the rest day. I'm feeling so much better going through the exercises - and this is literally after one week. I'm sweating a lot more and not feeling light headed (the first two days I could barley make it up the stairs). Since I wake up at 5am to work out, it makes all the world of difference to get a good sleep and last night I slept like a log!

Hope you're all having fun!
