Hello Everyone, I purchased it Insanity. I completed p90x August 30th. I went from 204-179 (rounded off.) My heaviest weight ever 240,Currently 175!
I want to start the second week of October, Im finishing off a weight traning routine I started 3 weeks ago. Insanity looks like lots of cardio i hope its like plyometrics...But daily..I like the intensity..

I am wrapping up P90X here in the next week, going to take a week or so off and then hit Insanity. It's in the mail right now, so it looks like we may start around the same time. Looking forward to your log, I will start one also, once I get going. Want to take the Fit Test video before I decide if I am truly ready for Insanity!

I look forward to hearing from both of you. I have a friend I am trying to get to post here his journey. He has told me it is one crazy workout!

Thanks Glenn, Tomorrow I will Officially Start Insanity, I will post my Current Stats and Pictures,that I will take tomorrow Morning. ANd of Course my Fit Test, which is Day 1. Aside from Insanity I will also be doing some weight training Mon-Wed-Fri..30 Minutes in the AM. I cant wait.
Current Weight 174.5
Short Term Goals:171 October 20th, My 24th B-day!
End Of insanity:4th Week of November 160-165
That will Put met at -80 Pounds over ALL!!!

Day 1 is in the Books, I also did a 30 Minute weight training routine. Im following Power Training by Robert Dos Remedios. I will also be weight traing MWF Today i happened to do my B2 Pull Workout Today.
Workout B2 Pull@ NOON
1.Explosive Movement
A.Narrow Grip Power Snatch with military Press (R:5 W:86 Lbs.) 4 Sets, 30-45 seconds rest between set
2.Knee Dominant (Bilateral)
B.Good Morning (R:10 W:55 Lbs.) 4 Sets, 30-45 seconds rest between set
3.Horizontal Pull (Unilateral)
C.Bend Over Dumbell Row (R:10 Each Arm W:30 Lbs.) 4 Sets, 30-45 seconds rest between set
4.Vertical Pull (Bilateral)
D. Pullup With Bands (R:10 W:Bands) 4 Sets, 30-45 seconds rest between set
@8:30 PM Insanity Fit Test
1.Switch Kicks:90
2.Power Jacks:40
3.Power Knees:70
4.Power Jumps:23

The Insanity Fit test went well, i broke a good sweat it felt good, it was cold in my Garage, that could have messed with numbers a bit, but im Satisfied overall. I purchased Insanity 3 weeks ago and I did the fit test to try it, i dont know where my numbers are at, but Today was Official. Day 2 Tomorrow,I cant wait to be standing in a pool of my own Sweat..Bring It!!

Rick, I Just read your reply I was Actually working out at the time you posted this, I noticed you started your own thread, Good Job on your p90x completion. Well here was my day.
Day 2: Plyometric Cardio Circuit.
Woke up at 4AM in order to commute to class, its only an hour but I woke up early.
Breakast: 5 slices of turkey Bacon, 2 boiled eggs and and English Muffin.
Brunch:?? 30 grams of Goldfish,Apple, 2 slice of bread, Kraft single Cheese and 2 slices of turkey Ham
Lunch: Subway, Buffalo Chicken Sanwhic I had to try it. I am at disappoint, Blue cheese will make it perfect, Sun chips and Mountain due,,,Yeah I know my campus doesnt have diet coke only diet Pepsi and i dont like it.
6PM  rogresso Beef stew, i think that was it..liquid with meat and veggies .or whatever it was.
Fish Oil, Multi V and water.
8-10 PM??? Insanity Day 2: Plyometric Cardio Circuit. It was really cold in my garage, so that slowed me down, and working out with a t-shirt is not my thing.i love the feeling of sweat dropping from my body.
After the first four minutes was really into it, then came the stretch..which slowed everyting down. At this point i was saying to myself, wow this is pretty easy, then the hard part started..I broke a sweat and I kept gasping for hair it was pretty hard core, for those last 25 Minutes, the 30 seconds breaks definetely help.
Tips:
Keep Water close to you, you will need it.
Look into doing a dry run of each Video before you do it Officially the first time, I kept looking at the video to get my form right.
You will be doing pushups, keep pushup bars nearby or dumbells in case you sweat too much..My Garage like most of you , consists of smooth cement.This is not good for a sweaty workout, i kept moving looking for dry spots, it messed with my reps, and i kept slipping.
Take rests if you need too.
Not bad for day 2, Tomorrow will be better i will actually look at the Video before I actually do it. I think Insanity is going to give me good results combined with my weight workouts..Update tomorrow. thanks for reading.
PS. My Hamstrings were sore from My Good Morning's Yesterday, try not to do heavy leg workouts before you do this..it didnt bother me though..

Dude, keep up the good work. That was a rough video and you did great. Thanks again for the tip of the dry-run, you saved me some shoulder pain as I need to stretch my left shoulder big time before anything pushup related. I will definitely dry-run all the videos.

Day 3. Cardio Power and Resistance.
Today was tough, the warmup was easy then the stretch was great..then the real work started with 25 minutes left. The garage floor was covered with sweat, I kept slipping during pushups, but i used a mat for the seconds and third set. Tomorrow I will not work out, but will push my workout a day, thereore no rest on sunday.

Thursday, I skipped my workout due to school and personal fun, Therefore i was going to make up for it by pushing everything a day. Friday, skipped workouts gain i slept early, darn it.. Saturday i made up for it,
Saturday @Noon Cardio Recovery (which i was suppose to do Thursday) Followed by p90x Kenpo Plus.. Together it was about 70 Minutes..Cardio Recovery was a great stretch/Yoga video no high intensity there.
Saturday @ 10 PM Pure Cardio (was suppose to do this Friday)..it was a fun fast paced workout no breaks after stretch... pretty easy. Thus far the easiest workout, aside from Cardio Recovery.i wish it was longer.
Tomorrow sunday, I will do Plyometric Cardio Circuit to catch up. I will be back on track Monday..

I was suppose to have a rest day, however I skipped a few days(see above) therefore today was plyo cardio circuit same as day 2. This time it went much better because I relied less on watching the video and more on listening and doing. The pushups toward the end are a good break for the legs, I'm getting better at them too. I have not done enough to tell anyone how this program has changed me, well see the coming weeks. It's 2:37am Monday , I can't sleep I'm writing this from iPhone. Week 2 day 1 today.

Cardio Power and Resistance
Repeat from last tuesday,this time i did much better since i had done this before. Ill take pictures on monday hopefully there are some noticeable changes i definetely feel different, this is a big change from p90x, tabata intervals and the weight training I am doing.

Week 2 Day2
Pure Cardio
Once again it was pure cardio. This workout was much easier the second time around, for a total of about 20 minutes of non-stop cardio. It still gets the job done. I will post progess pictures tomorrow. Now i have a small situation. I will not be able to do Insanity Thursday , friday maybe even Saturday. Tomorrow i will be doing Cardio circuit and then cardio power and resistance at night and skipping cardio recovery. No worries i will still be active those days, hopefully as intense as insanity. I am pretty sure I have lost 2 pounds so far, nothing official until the end of the 3rd week.

Keep up the great work. I think I am one or two days behind you, so it's good to read how you've kept up with it.
Are you finding the workouts too short? I know I will be begging for mercy in Month two when they double in length (I think). The materials that came with the set are pretty skimpy on details.

Week 2, Wednesday. I was confused at first when I read cardio circuit in the calendar. I figured it's plyo cardio circuit what else can it be. This was the third time doing this therefore it went much smoother, I fell behind in the pushups but I did complete them after taking a 15 secod break to adjust myself. I sweat like crazy and I kept slipping. Which is good thing, but I keep moving around for dry space.
It's Thursday today I will skip cardio recovery, due to school Ill try to get a different workout in to make for it .

So here is what happened, Thursday Friday and Saturday I didnt work out at all. Thursday I had a meeting then went out with the guys for our favorite brew, then Friday i spent it hydrating and getting ready for a Pajama house party.. Saturday half the day I spent it recovering then i went out to the homecoming tailgate.Now its sunday and time to catch up. Today I did Saturdays workout (pure cardio and cardio abs) tomorrow I will do cardio power and resistance in the Am then the fit test and a full body weight training in the PM..There are some mods, but i should be on track after tomorrow....Pics coming at the end of week this saturday.

Monday, Im Behind a little but I will adjust troughtout the days. I completed te Fit test and did some power lifting after. squats...cleans..etc..it was my A1 Push Workout..

Damn this crazy weather up here in central and northern,CA..I woke early at 4AM, and had a healthy breakfast: Boiled eggs, Turkey Bacon and an english muffin. ...
I am still catching up with the workouts I missed over the weekend, therefore today i did Cardio Power and Resistance. Tomorrow i will double up and do Cardio Circuit then at night Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs, which will put me on track for Thursday.
