Very nice results! Congrats! So would you say p90x or insanity to someone who has never done either? (new thread on that? hrmm)

I'd personally say if you're not in good shape, P90X, if you're in great shape then go for Insanity. Otherwise you won't get the best results out of it. There's just too much Cardio and jumping in Insanity for anything not in shape to do it. I think a round a P90X, Insanity, and then another round of P90X will rip anyone and get them in the best shape ever.

A picture's worth 1,000 words. Good job.

+1 on your P90X/Insanity take.
Insanity comes by its name honestly. Cardio-wise it is significantly harder than anything you will see in P90X - or even P90X+. That's saying a lot. I can't imagine jumping into Insanity if you aren't in pretty darn good shape first. You could hurt yourself. I mean it. P90X, while it is touted as being "extreme", is significantly less intense than Insanity.

After pulverising Plyo-X the other day I tried Interval-X + and did not have much trouble with it either. This is a testament to just how hard (and effective) Insanity is. Before Insanity those two workouts were the hardest cardio workouts I had ever known. Now they are almost easy for me. Amazing!

That said P90X has a lot of things going for it that Insanity doesn't. Variety is the biggest thing, I think. It is a much more well rounded program. As repetive as P90X is I found Insanity to be even more so. That was a big part of why I bailed with less than two weeks to go.
