I had a baby a little over a year ago and gained 80 lbs during my pregnancy i am now looking to start this hip hop abs routine to start shedding some of that weight. I am now around 170 lbs and would like to get back down to pre-prego weight which was 120. So i have some serious work to do if i look to lose 50 lbs with this system. I decided to start this blog and post before pics so that once i have been doing this for awhile i can try to track any progress as well.

Ok so i just started my workouts today since it was a holiday weekend. I did the cardio workout for a half hour plus walked for about an hour today. When i took my measurments they were as follows.

arms: 12.5
chest: 38
waist: 40.5
hips: 44
thighs: 26

I am only 5'3 so i definately need to bring all of these down a bit. Also my weight was at 170 lbs exactly. I won't be taking any measurements or checkin my weight for at least the first couple of weeks just so that i don't get discouraged if i don't see immediate results on the scale or tape measurer. I have started keeping track of what im eating as well so im hoping this will help me cut down or cut out the foods that are not helping with my progress.

Wondering how you are still doing with your hip hop abs workout. I am getting ready to start this workout myself.
