Hey! Glad to meet you. Yes, we can do it without pressure. I have pneumonia and feel like crap. I should have stayed in bed longer and rested, but I had school and didn't feel so bad after 3 days, so I worked out, felt great (as usual) and met my bf at the ballfield (I walked 3 1/2 miles roundtrip) to watch the playoffs. Not a good idea. The field was open and COLD and I felt the chill hit me again. That night, I coughed like a crazy person and the congestion and light fever is back.
Okay, fastforward to yesterday. I was in the 4th of July parade for children's basketball and (I'm really sports-challenged, but support my bf since he's the VP for the program) we walked 3 1/2 miles yesterday and I went swimming at our pool party and now I'm kinda funky. I hate it when I get sick. I hadn't been sick for 11 years until I took that darn flu shot last year and have been getting colds on a regular basis ever since. Never again and I do not recommend those to anyone. Okay, to answer your question about HHA, yep, I started on Level One. I'm not one of those people who skip around a lot, so this is my plan. 90 days on HHA and then 90 days on Zumba. I have the Beachbody Power 90, too, but I'll leave that one for last. Anyway, I workout 6 days a week and have the BB Shakeology before my workouts. This stuff is great. No hunger pangs for hours, plus I feel full. I think since I won't be working out this week, I'll drink that for 2 meals and have a light supper every night, so I don't gain any weight. This is my last weeks of school, so I won't be stuck in the bed 24/7, but will stay there the majority of the time when I'm home. BF can do the housework and cooking this week. I'm pooped! |

Im sorry to hear your sick, but glad to hear you still got some swimming and walking in, Thats what I did today too. It was so hot today I went and spent the day doing water work out in my pool and walked for an hour up HUGE hills! I was dying and sweating my butt off. Felt great. I tried doing shakes and things and I cant with my sugar levels they dont work for me so I stick to lots of protein in my diet for breakfast and before I work out. So tomorrow I will try and begin my hha again... I just finished college I know how hard it is to fit in working out with school. I begin my new job thurs so that will be a challenge as well, Hope I am up for it

Man, I'm coughing like I don't have good sense. Up at 3:30am, why? Because my upper-respitory infection is driving me to down Nyquil in large doses, which doesn't do squat for me right now because I don't have the casual cold, I have some kind of pneumonia. This pizzes me off a bit because it interferes with my workout plan.
I'm drinking my chocolate BB shakeology for meals for breakfasts at least. It's funny, my mental state is a little funky, but my body is a basket case. My legs were screaming mee-meez this whole weekend. I think I did too much. Okay, that stops right now. Well, even though it's sunny here in the upper 60s, I'm dressing for winter 'cause I'm going to go pick up my prescriptions. My doctor prescrbed my meds over the phone and I'll be using public trans to get there and back. I'll walk 8 minutes to the bus stop. Look at that, even sick, I'm finding ways to sneak a little workout in without overtaxing myself. Later Daze. |

Well, now I feel drunk and there's no alcohol or stimulant involved. My coughing is subsiding. It was terrible! I slept in until 4:30am this morning which is probably why I feel a little whoozy about now; not enough sleep, but I'll take care of that in a minute.
Had my BB shakeology this morning, but it's time for a snack, so I'll have a package of sliced apples and a piece of chicken. For lunch, I have an Orzo salad and flank steak. I better go lie down. |

I'm combining Ab Sculpt 2 & Hips, Buns, and Thighs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in accordance with the HHA calendar. Time to ramp it up! This will be until the end of August which will be 90 days on HHA, Level 2, then I move on to Zumba for 90 days. I'm going to miss it, but I have to mix it up. I'll come back to it when I've completed 90-day sessions with all of my programs. I am on a mission with a purpose. Just trying to keep it together. |
