So after a couple yoga workouts I definitely need blocks. Do they come in different sizes or lengths or anything? Do I need more than one? I don't know anything about them. Oh, I'm 6'1 and not very flexible at all, if that makes a difference. I can't wait for that to change. The flexibility, not the height.

There are some different size choices out there.

I don't have one though I could make use of one. I happen to use a small Rubbermaid-type tub container that is near my workout area. So you don't HAVE to have a yoga block to get support.

I use the box that the p90x dvds came in, works great. Another option are books.... Just my .02! I didnt want to spend the money on blocks when i had enough of them laying around!

the other alternative, if you already have them, are your push up stands. they double as a yoga block nicely. only thing is that, if you're less flexible, then you may need the block, as the stands arent as high as the block in "portrait".

Wow, I never would have thought of some of those. Yoga blocks are really nice though. They're squishy and light and easy to move around while in a pose without messing your balance up. I just went to my local sporting goods store and bought one.

I love it and my wife keep stealing it from me when we do Yoga together. Of course she uses it to stretch further and I use it to support my not quite there poses.
