i just want to make sure but i remember in the intro him saying that you need a pull up bar and dumb bells or alternatives for dumb bells like bands

i prefer dumb bells so i will probably purchase dumb bells

i have already purchased a pull up bar just waiting for that to come in to get started

id rather do all this from home

is there any additional equipment that is needed?

Really all you need are dumbbells and a pullup bar. If you want to get a yoga mat to help keep your grip on yoga/stretch days and pushup bars to do deeper pushups, that's about it.

good looking out i plan on this being my primary workout routine so its pLIFEx for me

lol

i like the layout i use to be a personal trainer and a lot of times i dont have time to go to the gym so this is something i can do in the am before i go to work

plus its more typical of a cardio strength training deal which i think is optimal for better health

anyway thanks man

i suppose i will get the push up bars as well as an array of different weight dumb bells

i only have 30 pounds for lawnmower day one, lol

A pullup bar and dumbbells are certainly the primary tools for p90x, but at times you'll be instructed to use chairs, stools, a saucer, and (at two instances) a wet towel. Except for the chair, however, most of these items aren't really mandatory.

I've found even the chair isn't really required. For the decline pushups I've used a bookshelf and a desk. You can do most of the back and shoulder exercises that need a chair bent over too, just makes it easier to target.

But yeah, as you go through the workouts they'll tell you what you need. Besides the weights, pull-up bar, and push-up bars you'll be able to find everything in your house.
