Thanks Ron G.

I run in them often, so I do not have a problem with the concrete being hard. After you start running in them, your feet get used to it and your knees start "springing" to absorb the impact. It's the same when I jump; I've noticed that my landings are a lot softer, because my knees are already accustomed to "springing." I would recommend for people that want to try Plyo with them to first do a "dry run" on your rest day, meaning that you watch the Plyo video, attempt some of the moves, but not actually workout, just attempt the moves and see how you feel with them.

I ready "Born to Run" recently as well. I highly recommend it to anyone, runner or not. There is a lot of physiology in it, but there is also a lot of stuff about life and living it better. Great read imo.

I've been wearing them on and off around the house and I really like them so far. The big test comes with Yoga X, Legs & Back, and Kenpo this weekend.

Just picked-up the KSOs. I will use them in my Insanity workouts and report back how it goes. I just wanted to post regarding my experience with sizing.

I followed Vibram's video on their web site on how to measure your feet and select the proper size. I also went to one of their retailers and used the official Vibram sizing tool. Let me tell you, the tool is WAY off in my opinion. Following the instructions on their web site my feet are 10 1/8". Which puts me in a size 40 for the KSO. Using Vibram's own tool at the store I measured in between a 39 and 40.

When I tried on the 40s at the store they were a little tight, but I figured they were suppose to be. I bought them, got home, and had immediate buyer's remorse. They just didn't feel comfortable and when I flexed my feet it felt like my toes were being bent.

So this morning I took them back and went with the 41s. The 41s are perfect. They fit snug, but not too tight. I can flex my feet and toes without any issues. I've been wearing them around the house and they feel great.

Based on my experience I would recommend the following. Use the sizing instructions on Vibram's site and do not use their in-store sizing tool. If you can get to a store to try them on then that is ideal, but not necessary. If you follow Vibram's sizing instructions on their site select one size larger than their suggestion.

I've been using them for about 2 weeks now and I'm happy with them. There are a few minor issues though:

The shoes seem to "grab" the carpet that I'm working out on and there have been a few times we're I've tripped or stumbled because the traction is so good.

Bending the front of the foot is awkward sometimes because of the thick rubber toes.

I still have a little discomfort with my pinky toe because it's shorter than it should be in comparison to the rest of my toes.

Other than, I love them and can't wait to try them outside in the Spring.
