What equipment is needed for P90X? 1 Month, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
What else do I need to buy in addition to ordering P90X online? Also, what supplements do I need to buy for the P90X training?

Thanks!

If you search the forum, people have discussed this issue before (including equipment, supplements, etc). But briefly, you'll need the following (all, please feel to chime in if I'm incorrect or have omitted something):

Pull-up/Chin-up bar (or bands and something to secure the bands with)
Dumbells (or weight bands)
Yoga/Exercise mat (for ab & yoga workouts)
Chair/Stool

Optional:
Push-up stands (I double mine as yoga blocks)
yoga blocks
some kind of recovery drink (would highly recommend)
multi-vitamins (would highly recommend)
Shock-absorbing mat (for plyo exercises)
Protein powder/bars

And you will need to get your kitchen in order. This involves getting rid of all the junk food and stoking every cupboard in you kitchen with tuna cans

This is all I can think of, others will (hopefully) let you know if i missed anything.

If you can do Yoga w/o a mat and you feel fine, then i guess you don't need one...as for the recover drink (at least the one i take) here are the ingredients: Dextrose, complex carbs, whey protein concentrate, magnesium carbonate, ascorbic acid, salt, L-glutamine, vitamin E acetate, natural and artificial flavor, lecithin, monopotassium phosphate.

I think you can find these ingredients in common processed foods, but like i've said before, if you can do w/o it then by all mean do so. Some people also make their own recovery drink with some protein shake and banana...there are recipes on this site somewhere.
