Pull up problem 1 Year, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I do pull ups with some support because whenever I do pull ups without it, I tend to Move towards right hand side.

I believe this is becasue my right hand is stronger, Any suggestions how can I handle this?

I want to eliminate the support pullups ASAP.

Regards,
Abhi

My suggestion would just be on concentrating on what you're doing while you're doing the pullup. Concentrate on pulling equally with both arms. If that doesn't work, then maybe even concentrating more on the left one than the right to get it stable. I've never heard of this problem before though. Make sure your hands are at an equal distance from the center of your body.

Hi,

I Kept the distances equal even after that same thing was happening.
Also, please note that I do pullups on the bars which are slightly V shape in the GYM.

I don't think that can be an issue. I have seen people doing it correctly on the same.

Regards,
Abhi

definitely a result of one arm being stronger just like in swimming.
the only remedy is to focus on what you're doing as stated by headhunter.
keep practicing that's the only way out
