I mean they give us an option X Stretch or rest what do you reccommend and explain why X stretch is really necessary if we do yoga

X-Stretch is less intense than Yoga and I think the idea is to use the rest day to rest but if you're feeling sore or tight, you could do x-stretch.

It isn't required. The guide does say Rest or Stretch X. I really good after Stretch X though. It isn't intense but you'll feel great afterwards.

More stretching is always good.
For the first week of P90X I also did a third to half of the stretch vid every day also. Makes you far less likely to get hurt. |

I'm guilty of not doing it even though I know I need to. I just finished it a few minutes ago and I feel great. It is definitely something that is needed, you have to stretch your muscles.
