On the whole Kenpo calories topic, I just wanted to chime in
My husband and I use Polar brand heart rate monitors. They come with the chest strap and a myriad of bells and whistles, one of which is calorie tracking based on age weight, sex and of course..dun dun dunnnh Heart rate.
My average overall for the workouts is 667. (Inc. the non-cardio ones)
Kenpo 580
Plyo 760
and this one surprised the heck outta me
Cardio X 722 Who knew?!!??
I know its not exactly a perfect science, but either way, if you are pushing, you are burning and you WILL notice improvements as you progress with the program.
Side note: Husbands numbers are a lot higher than mine, I try not to be jealous....honest lol
