I really slipped up last week on both working out and following clean eating. It should have been a recovery week before beginning phase III, but I only managed 3 of the scheduled workouts. I was wondering what everyone's opinion is on whether I should start Phase III as planned this week, or re-do the post Phase II recovery week? Any thoughts? Thanks.

i just did the same thing. recovery weeks are not my favorite, i just lose the intensity and drive. my "recovery week" will be over tomorrow, thank goodness, and i'm moving on.

Thanks for the input. I took a 1 week Spring Break "staycation" from work and got sidetracked from the program with projects around the house. Back to it tonight!

The last 2 weeks I a workout. I don't mind missing a cardio workout because I play hockey during the week and that can take the place of an hour of cardio, because that's basically what I'm doing, skating hard for an hour. But I missed Yoga and didn't make it up. I planned on doing it on Sunday but sometimes life gets in the way. It's one thing to miss it because you don't feel like it, but at times we just can't get to it.

If I missed 3 workouts I'd re-do the week. If it's just one, you can move on.

What i do is start the week over. I feel terrible when I miss days. I guess that is a good thing. If I miss 1 day I do that routine the next vs. just skipping it.
Regardless what you do don't continue to miss days. That is a slippery slope my friend and soon you will be looking back at months of bad eating habits and missed workouts.
