TOPIC: AbX

I have just completed week 1 (Woot) and I am starting on week 2 and the ABX is killing me. I can't do anything after the crunchy frogs. I know this will improve over time, but is there an alternative to do when I can't do anymore of the AbX do to muscle exhaustion.

Start by doing 10 of every exercise (except fifer scissors of course, do like 5 of those), and then add more over time, like 1 rep every time you do it, or 2 reps a week or something. The idea is to get through the entire exercise and at least do some of the moves. The longer you do it, the more you'll be able to do.

Austin thanks for the reply. That sounds like a good plan will try it out next time.

the great thing about what Austin suggested is, since you're not doing as many as the kids, its gives you a little break in between moves, so your abs/core can recover a little for the next one.

Yeah, Ab Ripper X is very intense. I had that problem at first, but then I realized I could do the whole thing if I just pushed myself to the limit. Try not to keep thinking you can't do it, because that was my problem. I just thought that I wouldn't be able to do it so I went in with that mindset. Just really tell yourself that you can, even if you can't finish the whole thing, I am sure you will do more than you usually would do. Your mind controls your body a lot more than people think.
