Although I have not seen to much of the ChaLEAN. I have heard great things about it. However, the names is as it says, it just makes you lean.

If you want muscle definition I would go with P90X. There are a lot of women, including on the DVDs, who are not bulky but fit. But you need about an hour and a half a day to do P90X. I'm not sure how much you need with ChaLEAN.

If you can find the time, I would go P90X.

In addition to what mrphil said...I'd like to add that you won't be "bulking up", especially doing P90x. Women...well most women...aren't made that way to begin with. That's more or less a myth.

I've seen ChaLean's workout and it looks real good also...not as intense as P90x is...but it looks good.

Don't worry about bulking with P90x though...at least not in the way you mean. You'll get definition/sculpting in your muscles. If you think it's going to be your cup of tea...go for it. Word of advice...your first week is killer so take it easy or you probably won't be able to move.
