Why not try and find a $20 TV on craigslist to use downstairs? Or move your room tv downstairs. How big is it?

I second what mattperkins26 said- I got a 27" tv on Craigslist for free for my exercise room. People were moving and wanted rid of it.

My tv's not movable, not sure what it weighs, but it's certainly heavier than I can move back and forth. It's a big flat glass hdtv screen (one of the last glass tube versions from 2005) and it's gotta weigh 100 pounds or so.

Never been to craigslist, so not sure about that, and it'd have to be a free tv, no money at all remember...LOL. Though I guess looking wouldn't hurt.

Tv's are really cheap. I recommend pawn stores because most have really good tv's for $20. Also drive around rich parts of town on trash day and gated communities. At gated communities you'll be amazed at the stuff people throw out next to the community bin.

So for cheap..pawn shops.
For free but no garantee...rich guys on garbage day and gated community bin.
