TOPIC: What to do when sick

What to do when sick 2 years, 3 months ago #36023

Hey guys Im on day 12 right now........and bring it! Just I happen to get a nasty cold. I went ahead and still did Plyo on tuesday but I had a fever last night so I couldnt go thru the shoulders and arms routine. Today Im 50/50, def feeling better but still pretty sick........if I were to miss should I just say to hell with this week and start over next week (keeping my stats from week one and making next week my 2nd week on phase 1) or should I try to supplement with the remaining days of this week. With only 1 day of rest theres not alot of room for error in this program for wanted to get everyones suggestions.

A lot of people, when they go through the program, miss days here and there because of illness, etc. I would say to just do what you can, then go on to the next day. If at the end of the program you missed a few days, no biggie. So no, just keep plugging away at it, miss what ya miss, and move on.

I've gotten sick twice now during P90X, and along with all the holidays, I've definitely missed my fair share of workouts. I should be done with P90X now, but I'm only on day 60 and probably have to make up about a month of workouts.

It's okay to extend phases for a week or two, but they suggest not to spend more than 5 or 6 weeks in one phase. Therefore, if you feel like you've missed too many workouts or weren't able to push it super hard, then just redo that week. But if you've only missed one workout, then perhaps you could make it up on your rest day, instead of or along with Stretch X
