So I was doing plyo yesterday, and the weirdest things happened to me. Before i even started i felt totally wiped out and wanted to skip it.. but what else is new, right? Suck it up and press play!

Started the vid, warm-up and circut 1 went fine... circut 2 my legs felt like noodles, arms like lead... i had to back off to modified moves and struggled just to do that. Circut 3, i had to hit pause and do modifieds. Circut 4, things started looking hazy, and i was getting dizzy and felt like i might barf. So then i just quit. Drank some OJ and layed down for a little while.

I dont understand what was going on with me that i felt so weak? Never before this have i felt like i 'couldnt' do the moves... i almost always feel like i 'dont want to' do them, but this time i actually couldnt.. i had no power whatsoever.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? What do you do about it?

I feel like such a loser now that 1. i couldnt even finish the video and 2. i totally dogged the parts i did do. This is week 7 for me and i managed plyo pretty well in the past, so i dont know what my problem is now? I should be stronger by now!

couple things come to mind...

1- everyone has an off day here or there, dont get hung up on it! you showed up and pressed play, even tho you didnt feel well. that in itself is a big achievement!

2- how is your diet? you sound like you may be "bonking". are you still doing phase 1? if so, jump into Phase 2, stat.

3- how are the weather conditions? i know for me, once the humidity starts to creep up, i'm done. but if its dry and cool (say, 60 deg, low humidity), i feel like i can go forever =)

again, dont get hung up on it. it happens to everyone sooner or later. just pick yoursefl back up and hit the next one harder!

Wow, stone cold busted!

I am still doing phase 1 level 1 diet bcz i freaked out about gaining weight, lol. So i guess i am a 'bonker'. Will quit bonking asap. Feeling dead is no fun.

And it was totally hot/humid yesterday too. Are you psychic? Amazing!

TY!

Follow the program and moved into phase 2 diet asap. You're starving yourself of essential energy that your body needs to do these rigorous exercises. Just trust in the program.

I agree with Ben...humidity can be killer during plyo!! Also..do you use a fan when you do plyo? When I first started the program even though I had the AC on I would put my fan on and then I started to realize every time the fan was on I would feel kinda dizzy and feel like barfing. I stopped with the fan and just sweat it out now..it feels much better!

Sometimes I will get half way through plyo and start to feel slugish or a little light headed so I take a little break and have a few sips of gatorade (along with water of course) and that usually does the trick.

Good luck!!
