Want to build muscle, not lose weight. Any Ideas? 2 years, 9 months ago #22497

So I just started monday. I am 5' 6" and weigh 140 lbs. I don't want to lose any weight I just want to build muscle. I know that when I do build muscle I am going to put on weight but I do my own cardio routines. Can anybody give me any tips on just building muscle? THANKS!!

They have a lot of information on how to gain muscle mass as well as reviews of pretty much everything bodybuilding related. |

to really simplify it, you really need to do one thing: eat more calories than you're burning.
theres a little more to that, like what kind of calories, when you get your calories, which i'm sure that link will cover. but the main idea is to make sure you're eating enough to support your activity level, in order to build muscle. |

Hey smk to be completely honest with you i have gained 4 lbs since starting p90x im on my second week. Just do the workouts and i hear some creatine 1 hr before helps but i havent tried it.
