Hey guys. I do my workouts in what counts as my morning around noon because I work until 3am sometimes later. Ive been getting between 6.5 and 7 hours of sleep a night. My problem is that usually Monday through Wednesday I can get up do my workouts and Im fine but from Thursday on I am dragging. I find it almost impossible to get up in the morning and then by 9-10pm Im so tired Im falling asleep at work. Any suggestions?? Im on the fat shredder diet plan I dont know if maybe I need more carbs or what.

Or maybe a bit more sleep if that's possible. I was very tired the first few weeks from the intensity of the workouts, but once I adjusted I was fine. How far into the program are you?

I started orginally Jan 25th and had to take some time off due to an injury not from p90x it was from falling on the ice. This time around Im just finishing phase 1 starting my recovery week tommorrow. Getting more sleep is pretty much impossible with my schedule I do sleep a bit longer on my days off but I try to stay pretty much on the same schedule. Ive still been doing my workouts I just figured I would see if anyone had any suggestions because Im so tired toward the end of the week.

I would suggest adding in another serving of a healthy carb. That really helped me get through it. The first week I was dragging butt by the end of the day. The second week I added in a second carb serving and my energy levels skyrocketed. Otherwise, the above posters are right that more sleep will give you more energy too.

Thanks Ill try to add in a extra carb. I know I need to get more sleep but until I find a different job its pretty impossible.
