i was wondering if it matters if you do your p90x workouts in the am or pm. some days i work 7a-730pm and its hard for me to get up at 4:15am to workout I rather workout ay 8pm . also i was wondering if it was possible to choose what day you rested. sometimes it may not be possible to workout a certain day even if its in the middle of the week can you use it as a skip day? thanks!

I don't think it matters what time you do them, sometimes I do them in the morning and other times in the evening!

I agree... I think you should do it when it makes the most sense for you.

I do mine first thing in the morning at 5am. I know the many people don't like to workout that early. However, I like to make my workouts a priority. So if I do it first, at least its done and out of the way. If I schedule it in the afternoon, too many things can happen during the day that might affect my ability to "git 'er done"!

Also, since I do it in the morning, I can do my doubles during my lunch break. I am fortunate enough to work a block away from my gym.

I usually do early in the morn...about 4. After that it's go go go until 8pm and by then I'm often too bagged to really bring it.
As for the rest day, I try to stay with the programme. Mine just ahppens to fall on Mondays which ain't bad but sometimes I sleep in on Sundays and make that my rest day.

I'm with Boom and Stick...I do my workout each morning at 5:30 a.m. because it's time that I have the most control over...which means I have the ability to be consistent. The hard part is...I'm not a morning person, but my body is adjusting (I'm on day 27)...

This last week has been interesting because there have been circumstances that have caused me to do a couple of my workouts in the evenings...and I ended up really hating doing it at night...for a couple reasons, the main one being it feels really good to start my day with exercise and to have it out of the way for the day (and this from someone who used to come alive at midnight)...the other reason is that I've found it really hard to get the time at night because the evenings are a little unpredictable (with 3 young kids).

As for rest days, I usually just follow the schedule. IMHO, I think the rest day is placed where it is on the schedule for reason.

Overall, I would encourage you to find the time that has that affords you the most consistency and try to stick to the schedule as much as possible.
