It's all about choices then. If you go to a McDonalds what are you ordering? I get a chicken grill sandwich, with a regular hamburger bun, apple dippers (those things are good) and a diet soda (or water). The honey wheat roll that comes with the sandwich is 240 calories, man!! The regular bun is only 150. The mayo is only 50 calories, I leave it on. You certainly can choose to substitute mustard and cut the extra 50 calories, but I love mayo.

That meal is 430 calories, 370 without the mayo. I start to feel hungry in about 3-4 hours but you should be eating something every 3-4 hours.

It's all about choices.

at first, you may need the bar "near" the tv. once you're used to the workout, you dont need the video as much, unless you like to work with the timing of the video. i rarely follow the videos anymore. especially for the strength training days.

also for your other question, i couldnt even do 1 pull up when i started. they'll show you in the vids how to modify.

may I ask what is P90X?

What ive been trying to do is eat alot of chicken grilled or baked with vegies, me and my wife have been splitting a boneless chicken brest and eating roughly a cup of whaatever vegtables we cook. But the friday nights and sometimes on saturday too we eat out somewhere and thats what hurts us. Shes little bitty at 110 pounds but she wants to get toned up and she has a problem with getting kidney stones and lack of energy so were trying to eat a bit different and start working out to get ready for p90x. Am i gonna be ok going to classic at my weight or do i need to get down to around 225 first?

I would think Kidney stones is a water issue. Tell her to drink more. Just my unscientific wild a$$ guess.

Anyway, at 254 I would say you're good to start. Have you tried the fitness test? It's really not that bad. The first several times through the workouts you may need to modify the moves which Tony encourages you to do if you need to. The thing is push your limits. Not too far but push for results every time. I won't lie, diet is going to be key. Look at anyone that gotten stellar results and their diet was most likely pretty tight.

For me even with a very good diet it's an uncertain road. I'm in my fourth week and have dialed in my diet to where I lose about 2 lbs per week. I constantly wrestle with the nutrition choices I make. I guess in two months I'll know.

Best of luck.
