Reidroc, I appreciate your enthusiasm. Queen, not sure about everyone else but Male here. My 90 day goal is to loose 24 lbs of bodyfat. I really need to set more goals and stick with them, specific, better yet, time specific goals can be a real motivator. Anyone else have any goals they intend on achieving?
Normally I am hitting my garage gym this time of year, using free weights, and a lot of running. But I am tired of having to get back into shape every spring, and even then I am not really in shape, only enough to play recreational sports. I am finished with that, I want to be fit, and be fit all of the time. There is no looking back from here. |

Count me in too! I have the program and this is exactly what I need other people to keep me motivated! I am student teaching and a single parent M-Thursday so we will have to stick together!

Ok everyone count me and my wife in. I will be trying to blog everyday and keep everyone posted. I have had P90X for over a year and everytime I start I come up with a excuse not to finish. I am in the military and my goal is to lose 30 lbs, but on top of that my goal is to be healthy. Lets do it and no excuses.

Just finished up with the chest, back, and ab ripper x! All I can say is wow! I was flat out fatigued. I couldn't finish ab ripper x. Keep everyone posted!

I took my before photos - ugh! That was pretty gruesome.
I'm not sure what my specific goal is, other than to get in shape. I want to feel better. I don't have a lot of weight to lose, but I need to turn some of what I've got from fat to muscle, and I need to lose my belly. I'm hoping for some muscle definition and toning in my arms and legs too. I want to feel stronger. I had my third baby seven months ago, and I've never tried to get in shape, so my phsyical appearance is making me feel a little blue. I gained 42 - 60 lbs with each pregnancy, and even though the numbers went down on the scale, my body sure didn't look the same afterwards. Right now, I'm about 10-11 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight, but I'm not too fixed on the numbers. I just want to look and feel different. I'm really excited to do this though! I'm going to be doing the Lean version, since I'm not really looking to bulk up, but rather to lose my jiggle and get fitter. Have you guys figured out your diets? I don't know how many calories I should get, though I know I need more protien. I have a hard time with food because I don't like most of it. |

Well - I'm RE-Starting on the 30th so if ya'll don't mind I'm going to consider myself part of the March 29th group
I was on week 6 when I crashed and burned (too much rain, terrible back pain, busy schedule, excuse whine excuse). BUT tonight is a trip to the market - and tomorrow is the re-start. I was debating on going back to week 6 - but I think I'd rather go through weeks 1-4 again to get back on track with eating etc. I'm still thinking about replacing Yoga with some cardio - i know everyone says "YOGA SUCKS - DON'T SKIP IT" but I can't physically do a lot of the moves (thanks to 7 vertebra fused together). It just doesn't happen and I get frustrated because it's NEVER going to happen. p.s. Queenofkings - Female here - so you're not alone |
