Trying P90 for the second time. Going with the classic version. The first time I didn't do the diet, but still lost weight.

I fell off the wagon around week 3, I had some schedule conflicts.
This time I am on the diet.

The diet seems so overwhelming at first. I went to the grocery store with the book in my hand to make shopping easier. It turned out it wasn't hard to shop for what I will need. I am still worried about keeping in line with the diet.

Looking forward to being sore

Going to do workout later today... I started my morning off with the level 2 mushroom omelette with a 2oz slab of scrapple and a GNC chocolate protein shake with skim milk.

The protein shake (my first ever) tasted surprisingly delicious. I mixed the powder with the milk in my Magic Bullet for about 20 seconds and it was all kinds of frothy goodness.

Well, I got through day 1 chest & back and ARX. I am drinking my recovery drink and then dinner in an hour.

A few things;

I tried to do all the movements, but some did not happen, they will with time.

I got lightheaded halfway through round 2, had to pause, checked my heart rate and it was around my calculated high rate (155). I continued when my heart rate went back into the proper zone.

I had planned to have a glass of juice a little bit before I started, but was sidetracked by a phone call.

I will not be sidetracked again, the calls can go to voicemail from now on!

Time for a shower.

I started Monday the 15th for my second round of p90x. Chest and Back still kicks my ass!

Yeah. I agree.

I was struggling through the 2nd Rd of Chest and Back.

I think I pushed too hard during Rd 1 of Chest/Back.

I did do some Plyo last week during my break between rounds of p90x but taking a break from resistance lifting was a mistake. I am in all sorts of pain today. Need some Plyo to get me loose.

Got some salmon thawing out for tonight. Can't wait!
