I started p90X and fat smash diet on Sunday, 7/25. I feel absolutely amazing already!!

I used to have no problems sleeping, now I find it a bit more tough to wind down at night. I find myself waking up in the middle of the night with energy... I'll get up to use the restroom and sometimes will feel a bit out of it and dizzy. Is this my body adjusting?

I woke up this morning with tons of energy, and woke up early! My life previous to this was eating alot of rich foods, and drinking almost daily.

My clothes already fit much better...

Oh, and I usually start my workout after dinner around 7:30, not much else of a choice...

Get a night job like me and you can fall asleep anytime with no problems! lol

I'm not an expert but I think it has to do with doing an intense workout so late at night. I used to have this problem in the army if I did PT really late at night. You just pump yourself up full of energy and it can take a few hours to settle down again.

Narkotic-
I was thinking of doing the smash diet along with P90X. Do you have any advice/suggestions before I start? I am planning on starting again on 8/2. Thanks!

The only advice I have is to stick with it, it's not easy the first phase... The first phase is just a body detox, so everything you are used to is pretty much gone (soda, beer, alcohol, breads, meat, cheese, etc). It's really tough for me especially since my work place always has junk food everywhere!

After 9 days of this, you will feel super awesome. Your skin will even look better. Don't worry about counting calories, just stick with some of the meal ideas.

There are tons of fat smash forums out there that have example recipes for the different phases. This eludes me at the moment because it's my fiancee that does most of the preparation.

Last night we went out to dinner for the first time in a week, and we went to a vegan place. Not super healthy, but meat-free.

Try to ditch caffeine and carbonated drinks. I still get headaches from it but I feel better at the end of the day.

You can do it man!
