Hi everyone. I am so close to purchasing P90X. One question. Is there any downside to purchasing the program off of Ebay or Craigslist to save a little money. I guess I'm wondering if there are any benefits to purchasing directly from beach body. Thanks.

I got my set off of ebay, didnt do a whole lot of research, and got a knock off version but it works just as well. There are alot of sellers with packages new in box, so I would say make sure you get a reputable seller, but you can definately save some $$$$.

no seriously that sucks you should have disputed the transaction with your credit card and you would have gotten reimbursed, I hope you gave this individual a detailed negative feedback.

now to the OP yes you can buy your p90x anywhere like Addict pointed out some places give you the package deal which is nice bc you don't have to wait for other components to start.

You should ask around and see if any of your friends have it or know someone that does. My brother-in-law bought the program and burned me copies of all the workouts, so I got mine for free.

A lot of the folks selling on e-bay are legit 'coaches' selling the program at a discount price taking a hit on their commissions. That is how I got mine..

I do not advocate burning copies of DVD's as that is straight out STEALING!!

Karma will get you in the end. But for real, you should not steal the DVD's. They are like $120 legitimate, but give you 12 workouts, etc. $10 per DVD?? Totally worth the price of admission.

No, it is not stealing. There is nothing illegal about it unless you replicate something for personal profit.

Uhhhhhh, no... If you replicate a DVD and 'give it' to someone else, then it is stealing. Remember Napster??

If I downloaded the DVD's on a file sharing program, then yeah I stole it. I received a copy from an already purchased set of DVDs, there is nothing illegal with that. I guess from now on I should probably not download any music and make a CD or put them into my iPod or I should DEFINITELY not record a movie from HBO on mu DVR and watch it whenever I want. That would just be breaking the law in so many ways.

the way we get what we got is how we got it.

in other words let's not make a stink about it. just focus on the program. this program is good enough for me to advise someone to beg borrow or steal to get it.
