WOW...... 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Ok now that I have finally received my p90x its time to start. I work nights and received it to late in the afternoon to start. Well I brought the fitness guide and the nutrition guide to work with me to read over a little bit and WOW. Looks like I have a long road ahead of me. I have decided that I am going to do the P90X doubles. I really need to shred some fat off of me, well not some but ALOT!!!!!

I am going to take my before pictures today and will have some day 1 and 30 pics up in 30 days. So make sure you are watching for them. I cant stand to even take my shirt off in front of my parents anymore so that is a tuff one for me taking pictures.

Im glad that there are so many ppl on here that have already completed the program and several that are in the middle of the program so they can help push ppl along if they start to slack!!! Im normally not one to slack, but since I have put on so much weight I just dont have the motivation to execrise or workout like I use to!!! Looks like I am going to have to cut the Playstation off for a little bit and cut the new IPOD on and give it a run.

Does anyone use the nike-ipod? Where you put the thing in your shoes and it connects to the ipod and it tells you your heart rate and everything while exercising? I thought about getting it but I dont know if it is worth it or not.

Well thanks for reading everyone!!!! Now lets get it started!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doing doubles is harder in some ways, but in others I don't find it much harder. In the first 30 days, the program is the same, so you don't have to commit to the doubles quite yet.

Go through the first 30, and if at the end your joints feel good, and you have plenty of energy, go for the doubles! I'll warn you though, there will be days where you're just way to wiped to get up & do cardio in the morning...like the morning after Plyo!

Good luck - this is a great program, and some, including me, even think it's fun!

I have a nike + system and I love it. It really is only good if you go for a run or run on a treadmill. It does not work on an elliptical or tell you your heart rate. At least mine doesn't. I have had mine for over a year, maybe the newer ones will.
Basically, it will tell you your pace, distance, time, stuff like that.

BTW: I am starting myself in a few days so I am right there with you brother. Good luck. See you back here in 90.
