Week one complete 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
From my blog:

This week has been damn hard, but its shown me that I can do it if I try. Dieting has been hard and for the first week ever I haven't consumed any fast food. Getting my supplements of creatine and protein on time, never missing a work out. 7 days are done, 83 more to go.

Day 8 starts tomorrow, chest and back.

What was the first week like for all you guys? Already I feel fitter, mentally and physically.

I'm in phase 2 now, but I remember being sore all the time but super-excited during week 1. I got a total rush from it, and felt like I was walking taller! Don't lose your enthusiasm for it - the commitment is the most important part. Good luck!

I'll be starting on Monday and looking forward to it. Any week 1 tips?

I remember the soreness - particularly in my abs. And I remember being pretty excited about it since, to me, it proved that P90X was the real deal. Week 1 was a wake up call for me. I thought I was in decent shape before starting but Week 1 simply kicked my tail. It's when I started to figure out that you don't necessarily need to pump iron to get a good resistence workout, that an 8'x 8' space is plenty for a killer cardio workout and that Yoga ain't just stretching for hippies.

You just gotta bring it, like tony says. Do your best and forget about the rest. Pace yourself during the chest and back workout is a big one too. Do not give up mid way through plyo. It does get easier I think. Also use week one to develop good eating habits, no fast food, no junk, lots of protein and low carbs.

My biggest tip, DONT GIVE UP. You'll be glad at the end of each session you made it through.
