O.k this is going to sound bad, but I decided since it is the last day of "freedom" ahaha; that I am going to enjoy my last meal of straight up fats and carbs today. Tomorrow I start the program and am pretty nervous. I work out pretty hard as it is and watch what I eat, but this program takes a lot more dedication not so much time per say (hour a day is not bad at all).
I will be putting up a before pic after my first work out tomorrow.
I am very thankful for this forum by the way. I know you all are going to get tired of my mug by the time I through with you all lols!
See you all soon.

Haha I know exactly what you mean! Enjoy it while you can. I am also restarting tommorow. I have lost about 10lbs so far, but it is my goal to finish P90X. So cheers to our last day!

Mind if I join you two? I started the program once before but had to stop due to traveling reasons. P90X worked great when I was on, but packed the pounds back on through my travels over the past 3 months. I'm home for the next 8 months and am ready to get back in it. This forum worked great for motivation and support, and I'm hoping for it to help again! Which profram are ya'll doing? classic, doubles, or lean?
As far as the last great meal, got a huge T-bone on the grill right next to the potatoes! Cheers

I'm jealous. My weight is being really stubborn. I went down about 2 pounds and then went on vacation for a week and gained them back. I can see visible signs of losing fat, but it would be reassuring to see the scale dip a little. I just figured out yesterday I'm 20.6% fat according to the Navy method, so I'm hoping for 14-17% by day 90!
You guys enjoy your last day, because tomorrow it's time to bring it! Remember to take it easy the first week and to pause a lot, or you're going to be really really sore instead of just being really sore.

nice... I am doing the Classic Program and may be incorporating more cardio every other week instead of the yoga... I like yoga I just feel I need more cardio--but not as much as the doubles. I also discovered that I do not currently eat enough...total came to 800 calories a day (vegetarian) and I work out 5 days a week for about an hour (weights, long distance run, and swimming). I can't believe how much I am going to have to eat on this program. I will be forcing food down lols. I did enjoy my last day I had a hot fudge sundae hehe.
Tomorrow is almost here...

I don't blame you. Yoga is so long, and some of the moves are near impossible for me still. Then again, I guess I'll never get better at it if I don't keep doing it.

Can I join you guys I also am restarting today, my first time I got to the 30 day mark and then the 5th week screwed me up and I got lazy and quit. The 5th week was too much slack for me but hopefully I can keep the drive up this time. I am off to go do chest and back right now

Good luck to all of you. Just one comment -- Do the Yoga! Cardio is NOT a substitute for it. Read all the threads here, yes almost everyone hates the Yoga, but if you read those that are 1+ months in, most agree it's a big part of P90X.
Looking forward to seeing all of you post here and see the changes!
Rick

Maybe I'm the oddball, but I really enjoyed the yoga. It does get a little tedious, but it's really challenging for me.

On my first attemp at P90x I hated the yoga on the first week, in fact I quit doing it after 20 mins into it. The second week it was much better and I completed the whole thing although I couldn't do some of the moves. I think I hated it the first week because my body was so sore and doing the yoga was very difficult because of it. Instead of relaxing me, It actually made me very hacked off when doing it the first week lol.

Yoga is probably the only video that I'm quite sure a signifigant portion of the people doing it actually give their TV a middle finger. Well, I did anyway.

Now there's pose I could hold for a good long time.
But does it have a name?
Up(ward) Yours, maybe?
+1 karma for that.

Running too? I have been wanting to swim on Fridays like I was doing. About three weeks ago I was running 4 times a week and lifting everyday and then swimming on Fridays. I was consuming about 800-1200 calories a day. Let me just say this, "I love P90X!" Seriously, I am falling in love with these workouts and the food is great so far. I am on day 3 and have 87 days left...seems like a lot of days. I am starting a new semester in college with 4 classes (two online, two on campus), have a part time job, and a 3 year old little boy. And on top of that I am an A.A member and volunteer when needed, but mainly just like to hit up meetings on weekends. So, a job, a kid, classes with papers, and staying sober...with now P90X...We will see when school starts if I can hack it.
I already did meal plans so this is not much different--just the scale thing is different.

I know what you mean. Kudos to you for being a super mom. I am on day three and I am feeling good besides the weight thing. I have tried to finish P90X a couple times and I am just going to start taking it day at a time. I am in the military and I am taking three classes right now. I am sure you can do it all!

Green tea is really good for you. Alot of magazines say that is can help you lose weight naturally. I take fish oil, gnc mega man vitapack, and protein. I have been doing good so far. I am down two pounds for the week. I am really trying to get my diet under control. How is everyone else feeling?
