Quinney~I have been snacking on yogart, toast w/ peanut butter. I have found a bread called healthy multi grain from Natures own brand. It has 5g of protien in a slice and I use 1/2 tbsp of peanut butter on it. Also, 100 cal packs of almonds, beans are great for you and high in protien. I have been eating brown rice w/a bit of salsa in it and ground turkey on my salads as well. There are many protien options.

Well today was actuallyfun! I love legs and back as well as ab ripper. I can't wait for tomorrow! We almost have week 2 down!

Does anyone have the yoga blocks and how do you feel about those if you have done it with and without? Also an idea I have the weighted gloves for tomorrow's workout. Last week I used them through the entire first section w/ just punching. Then took them off for the kicking and combo moves. It really added a little to the workout and I was wondering why no one on the DVD had them on?

thanks Trish, i have ordered some almonds and mixed seeds for next weeks shopping, should help! Also my mum is going away for the week so i can make all my own meals! can't wait to get trying some of the recipes from the Nutrition Guide! Anyone got any tasty recommendations?
Legs/back and Ab ripper X, probably my second most enjoyable day after shoulders/arms and ab ripper X! everything i can do pretty well apart from the obvious wall squats, they are murder! Don't even get me started on the single leg ones!
KEEP IT UP EVERYONE!

Quinney:

Good to hear that you will be able to work on getting some of your own food into the diet. I would reccomend that you atleast try that Mushroom Omlet for breakfast one of the days that your mother is not there in the case she will not let you eat it.

Also, I would say, try the chicken scramble as well as it is really good. I have to eat a little over 3k calories a day so all my food is at level 3. Its a shame you can't have those protien shakes, because that protien shake that he has on there is really good.... The one with the cup of ice, whole bananna, cup of blueberries, and 5 tbls of whey. Sometimes I add my own twist and put either skim milk or OJ in it...

Good luck fixing those meals.....

Day 13 in the books,

I just have a blast doing Kempo X... I actually pull out the old boxing gloves and did the first punching routine with the gloves on. It was a lot more challenging than doing it without the gloves as the gloves do provide some form of weight.

I would suggest if you have gloves or wraps try it with those and you will get even more of a burn. Also, if you have the strength at the end, put the gloves back on and do the last 100+ punches, you will really feel great after that!!!!!!

Guys we are almost at the two week Mark and I am sure you all are still kicking strong... Keep up the good work.....

I have 2lb weighted gloves for this very reason. LOVE them. I used them till he did the first kicking stuff. Then I took them off. It really adds something to the workout!

I was actually thinking about doing yoga tomorrow instead of stretch. I really enjoy that workout and feels great afterward if not and I have less time I will def. do the stretching. I am going to weigh in Monday and measure myself to see where I am at.

So, I missed yesterdays workout. Ended up at work until midnight. Got home and just crashed!

I am using yesterday as my rest day I guess. Finished Legs and Back and the dreaded ARX. Got everything in ARX complete still with some breaks. Think next week I may be able to do the entire ARX with only one break (that is my goal at least). For those of you that finished off with Kempo today. Congrats! Enjoy your rest. I will be back on track tomorrow! Have a great weekend everyone!

Well I'm glad everyone is doing well. I had a few things come up the last three days and haven't goten to workout. I'm not going to get to down about it (even though it would be easy) I will get back on track Monday morning. For me the key is to get in shape and hopefully gain some mass. Hope I didn't bore anyone with that. Keep up the good work everyone.

Week 2 is almost in the books. Kempo today. I had a WTF was I thinking moment this week. On day 2 or 3 for some reason all day I was looking forward to biceps and back. So about 5 minutes into the workout I realized I jumped ahead to week 5. I was into it so I finished the workout. By the way it is tough workout...but I really liked it. I am going to "make-up" shoulders on Monday instead of stretch/rest.

No weight loss. I will admit my motivation for weight loss is not real high. I really eat healthly no sugars, sodas etc. I do need to get motivated for the diet. I am actually excited to workout again. Even when I come home from work and tired I still want to workout. That is new for me.

Keep up the good work everyone. For those who have "slipped" a little don't beat yourself up and get back online with us...get busy no matter what has happened get off your butt and start sweatin' !!!

Week 2 in the books. I am feeling great and have lost alost 10lbs. How is everyone else doing? I can see a HUGE differance in my sides, stomach and face. Energy level is pretty high although I have been struggling with diet. My diet has been good and under 2000 calories where it's suppose to be but I haven't found that right percentage. I am always lacking in protein and over in carbs. I know sounds like an easy problem to fix but still struggling. Anyways seeing fantastic results so far. Everyone keep up the great work

Re:STARTING THE 25TH!!! ANYONE IN WITH ME?!?! 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Well chest/back/abs are done! I was so stoked this morning to do 18 regular push ups off my knees. I started with 10 on the first day of doing this workout. This was actually the 4th time I have done it because I did it once the week before I started. I had hoped to do 25 by the end, but now I am thinking it'll be more like 30!! I still can't do any with my hands touching on the diamond ones, but I just seperate them a little bit like he suggests! Anyway overall a great workout today! I weighed in and am still only down 1 pound, but I didn't have much to lose so I am trying to stay positive about that.

Hope everyone has started week 3 off great!

Week 3 day 1 in the books,

I really pushed it hard on the second go around.... I was thinking about really bringing it this morning. I ended up doing 25 regualar pushups the second go around, I shocked myself.... I improved off my numbers the second week of the workouts..

Ripper X is still a beast; however, I am doing the best I can to continue to bring it with the work outs!!!!

The Diamond pushup are still an issue as I was only able to do 11 the first time and 13 the second go around... In time we will all get there, keep up the good work everyone...

Alright everyone, week 3 day 1 is underway! After this workout, we won't see the chest and back routine again til week 9. Right when I was just starting to get fond of it too. Hope everyone else is still plugging away at it.

Back on track with everyone. Chest and Back done along with ARX. After I finished up with everything tonight, I compared tonight's workout with the first night. I was shocked to see such improvements.
Those Diamond Push ups, still give me hell. I know my form is getting better each time, so I am really happy to see the increase. The pull ups, I am having to use bands as there is no way to setup a pull up bar in my loft. First week, I used a band way to light, and the form was so off. Tonight used a much better band for myself and feel like the form was much better (was keeping the angle the entire time). I feel so great. I really wish I had a bar though, as I know there is no true substitute for a real pull up.

ARX I still yell each time Tony says half way..that is just evil. Got through the entire process had to fall out during the mason presses. Could not keep up at the end. All in all though, brilliant night.

Bring on Plyometrics!

Man...this is ridiculously addicting. I've worked out off an on in the gym, but I never really took the time to develop any sort of program and never wrote anything down. I must say, having the worksheets is an amazing motivation tool.

My diet has been on point. I've only had two beers in three weeks (down from drinking 8-12 beers 2-3 nights a week, lol) and that was really my only weakness because I had been trying to eat like 90% of my diet in whole unprocessed foods for about 8 months now.

Hopefully everyone is still keeping it up, we're 1/6th of the way done with round 1!!

Week 3 day 2 in the books

Plyo for some reason was a little hard for me this morning. Probably because I stayed up and watched basketball deep into the morning and then had to work out at 7:45am...

I did get through the workout and hammered out the bonus sports part as well. I have to get myself upbeat regarding yoga X tomorrow. I am still struggling with a couple of the Yoga X moves.

Keep up the great work guys was are almost a month in everyone....

My pushups have skyrocketed, 1st day i did 14, last night i did 25, and 14 in the second round, and i managed to do 10 military ones! I was so impressed with myself! ARX was a killer again, Plyo tonight, gonna go do it in an hour seeing as i have just had my dinner!
