hmm no posts in awhile. Hope everyone is still bringing it! For me, 1 week left and Im very happy its almost over. Need to burn some good calories and stick with my diet this week. Dropped 1.5lbs more for total 20.5lbs lost. Im at 192.5lbs, Im hoping this recovery week I can break 190lbs. That would be sweet!

I'm still with you Robert and I was just getting on to post and thinking the same thing. I'm about to do my last plyometrics workout on week 12. I can't believe it. I'm at 188 lb which is 20 lb from where I started. I'm in need of new clothes, I look like I'm wearing my dads pants and shirts. I find myself wanting to do more of the cardio routines because at 36 with a wife and four kids I don't really care alot about being a beefcake. Just want to burn the calories and keep weight off. The free cardio interval workout on the "How to Bring It" DVD is a monster cardiovacular workout.

Chuck,
Great job! Feels good to put on thinner clothes. Im starting to fit into smaller shirts that just never fit before p90x. You should treat yourself and go out to buy new clothes.

Out on the road again. You guys are rocking the program. I bet it feels good to be almost done. I started from scratch this past Saturday. Little easier than the first time, but plyo stinks no matter how many times you have done it. Great results fr the first road....my pants this morning were way to big and I has to scramble to find an old pair. Ha!!!!

lol thats funny! I have a Old Navy shorts size 36 that only fits because it has extra strings in the front to tie up. I love those shorts, I dont want to get rid of it but its starting to look awkward hah.

Big headache last night, couldnt do Core. Headache still lingering around, this sucks! Going to try to do Core tonight and maybe Kempo in morning to catch up. Saturday is my last day. Dont want to drag it on especially into labor day weekend.

I feel your pain(not literally). I have bad migraines on occasion and I would not be able to workout if I had one. I've been fortunate that when I've had them its been a rest day or I've been able to get relief prior to the workout.

FINISHED P90X!! Woohoo, finally! Started June 8th at 213lbs now September 6th at 188.5lbs. Total weight lost 24.5lbs. Im so excited! Before P90X, I didn't think I would be able to break 190 as it was a major plateau for me in the past. As mentioned before, I'm going to take a much needed break and continue into round 2 in the new year. I'm so close to my ideal weight of 175lbs. I haven't been at 175lbs since I was out of high school. Will post pictures later today. Pictures don't really show definition. I think the flash kills all the shadows but I do see beginning shapes of 4 abs. I really need to get my body fat down.
Looking forward to your results too! Post them up when youre done!
Start
213lbs; 38 pants
Phase 1 (day 28)
207lbs; 36 pants; 27% body fat
Phase 2 (day 56)
198lbs; 34 pants; 25% body fat
Phase 3 (day 90)
188.5lbs; 34 pants; 23.8% body fat

Looking forward to your results Chuck!
Well its going to be a rough 4 months until the new year! So far this holiday weekend, I managed to eat more than I normally do and I did feast on fatty foods like homemade gumbo and bbq baby back ribs. And normally I would not touch it but the excuse was "hey, im off p90x, one time wont hurt". Well I feel that I could go back to my normal eating habits but thats where the challenge will be at.... to maintain the same diet and maintain the weight until round 2. So try to focus and stick to your diet even after round 1 if you decide to take a break.

Ok guys, I finished up day 90 on Saturday but worked all day Sunday so I'm late commenting. Thanks to Robert and JB for the support. I am inspired to keep up my fitness routine in some form or fashion. I may restart this program after the new year. I don't have pictures I'm afraid, but here are my results
Day 1 208 lbs 24% body fat
Day 30 198 lbs 21% body fat
Day 60 191 lbs 20% body fat
Day 90 187 lbs 17% body fat

Great job Chuck! You and JB helped me too! Look at that body fat % go down! Thats amazing. I want to get down to around 15% or so as well, maybe in round 2! Would like to see you post a pic here and/or in the before & after section. Congrats!

Chuck,
Those are great results!!!! Fantastic work. I bet it feels great to be over with the program and looking at a maintenance phase for a bit.
Both you and Robert were fantastic with keeping me accountable and motivated. We were a great team. Thank you very much. If you guys want to go again let me know. Look me up on Facebook if you get a chance.

Hey guys. Just a post update...
I've been able to maintain my weight 1-1/2 weeks after finishing P90X. Been sticking to my diet most of the time and have occasionally allowed myself to eat small amounts of "other foods" in moderation. Im confident that staying at my current weight will not be a problem!
This program really changed my life. Im more active and health conscience now.
Ive been alternating pushups and unassisted pullups daily. Im doing max rep for 2 sets. On pushups I started w/ 30 reps and now Im at 33 reps. On unassisted pullups, I started w/ 4-5 reps for both pullup and reverse grip. Yesterday I did 8 reps! UNASSISTED! Im shocked! This is the most I've done in my life and it feels great lol. Wide grip is a different story, I barely do 1 rep. Its very difficult!
