Any workout buddies? I have done a few of the DVD's, chestback, plyo, yoga, cardio, arms shoulders, stretch...and am starting the real deal tomorrow...i would love a workout buddy, if no is starting tomorrow..the the public forum it is.

I was 397lbs in 2004 and am now 225lbs though diet and exercise and need to lose 20 more pounds, but will sacrifice the weight on the scale, if i am 225 muscle and not 180 muscle
I am doing classic, to hone in the last 20 pounds and get rid of this gut.

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Sounds great! The more the merrier. I started the workout today and all I can say is HOLY COW! Since this was day one all I kept saying was "pace yourself, pace yourself." I am definitely going to need some help with accountability and motivation. What say you?

Since I presently struggle with the pull ups and the second round of push ups I used a chair to help maximize reps on the pullups and transitioned to my knees on the push ups. The folks on the DVD are animals. What do you guys think about Ab Ripper X? I read in the helpful beginner hints to lessen the reps so I targeted 10. Some I did more but most I did 10. I am thinking not so shabby for Day 1. Of course, I was absolutely smoked when I finished. Absolutely smoked.

I am now trying to figure out the diet. From what I read tomorrow will be another day of "I presently struggle with...." and I want to make sure I get all the right stuff in my body. Whoop whoop!

I havent been real good with the whole diet thing, well durning the week I am very good consumming about 1600 cal a day. On the week end I blow it all to heck. I also have a very very enjoyable cig after work outs. Yep I know it isnt good not at all,but it sure does taste good...lol I had a hard time the first week even being able to finish the hole dvd, but the 2nd week around I could do it and it got easier each time. I also hurt the first week, but after that I feel little pain. I really need to focus on my diet for better results.......

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Ok so I totally shredded chest and back last night. Ab Ripper X was insane as well. Today it feels like someone kicked me in the chest and I love it.

I use superbands from PerformBetter.com for pull ups and chin ups. I loop them around the bar and then around my knee and as i get stronger I will use a thinner band. They are awesome effective and a great place to start.

Diet is crucial, I have lost 180 pounds so far and as bad as I wanted to I just had to stop eating. You also have to make sure you are eating enough. These workouts take about 400-600 cals out of me, so make sure you all are eating enough to keep those metabolisms fired up.

Welcome to all of you who joined the June 6th date team...also..recovery drink over cig will do wonders

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Do you think that I should be eating more than 1600? In my diet nutrion plan it had me down for that> I just have a hard time following there plan. I am so busy durning the week with meetings, and stuff that I do not have the time to eat what they want, so I just started doing a balance meal... Any sugestions? I have seen results but not on the scale. I read in acouple blogs that I should see more in phase 2. I eat alot of fruit and veggies and some protiens. I have the recovery drink, but when I seen how many cal's were in there I quit drinking it. I weight 170lb and I am 5'8. I have a musculer build, but want to tone my legs, but well everything

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
I made the mistake of not taking pic's...... I have 100% more enery, but still cant do a pull up Dont get discourage by me though Like I said I cheat on my diet on the week end. Although I dont look like I weight 170lb I do. I have area;s I really need to slim down on. My goal is to get down to 155. I sure hope I can do it. I have tryed alot of diets in the past and when sown, but could not get down to 150 or 155. I will see the program threw it has giving me so much energy and my butt has (and other area's) have firmed up. I think it is a great program. If you can follow there diet I think you will find alot better result and quicker than what I am doing. I will get some pic's posted this week and keep it going every 2 wks. I have a hard time finding someone to take pic's for me

Yo 42Cellis! I am going to work hard to stay on the diet. I have a co-worker on week 3 who is not on the diet but is getting cut up pretty good (that is what he is saying). The diet seems to be an item of a lot of discussion across the message boards. I have to tell ya...I am going to do my best with it. I am in the military and frequently have to travel, so it is going to be a challenge. Plus no beer for 90 days? whew! Since I have to do unit PT during the week I will be getting a lot of extra cardio in. I am not sure what that is going to do to me. I was wiped out after the day 1 work out. I used NOxplode before I started and not sure if it was what caused the nausea at the end of the chest & back. I chugged Myoplex after I was done as my recovering drink. I think it is 2800 calories. Had a loaded salad to add the veggies, fat, and dairy requirements. I have a feeling it is going to be a Motrin night.....

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
diet is definitely one of the things i will struggle the most with

i'll be okay while i'm at home, but i travel a LOT for work (nine weeks this summer) and that tends to mean we eat out a lot... i'll have to try to finagle things a bit to make sure i can stick to my nutrition plan. the hotel we stay in typically doesn't provide a refrigerator in the rooms, so it kind of forced us to eat out. I think they might be able to do if you specially request it, though.

*sigh* i hope that's not the thing that gets me down!

Krath...I have the same issue with constantly traveling. Staying in hotels provides an interesting dilemma. I have asked for fridges from the front desk and usually they have some spare ones laying around. It is too easy to just go out and get a burger....

Did I tell ya...I am already sore!!!! Ugh! Need to take some Vitamin M before bed.

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
i did plyometrics last night, and BOY does that one seem to drag on. I used to play basketball, and I never could get my butt to go down very low when doing some of those drills without killing myself or destroying my knees. I had to modify a lot of those, or try to find alternatives to the ones where they were jumping a lot (i think, when they were doing the knee tucks, i just decided to squat as rapidly and as low as i could. probably not working the same muscle grouping, but I just couldn't do those at this point. maybe after a few more rounds...)

I had a wedding to go to yesterday, and I really didn't want to work out after I got back. I was feeling a bit crappy anyway because I didn't have a date and didn't really know many people there other than the bride and the groom (I hadn't ever realized how lonely weddings could be until I had to go to one by myself! my boyfriend would have come, but he's teaching English in China for another month and a half). I was ready to just sit down and mope, but I told myself I would be happier and feel more responsible if I went ahead and worked out.

So I did Plyo. I definitely recommend modifying the moves if they hurt, or if you feel they are to advanced at the moment. I had to modify the majority of them, but don't worry that if you have to modify them they won't be effective; my legs are definitely burning this morning, so the modified moves will work your muscles if that's what you end up doing.

Sorry to here that you did not have a date for the wedding. I hope you had fun anyway.

If plyo is to hard at first, you can do cardo x. I did my first couple of weeks. I helps you get ready for plyo and he also tells you the same when you begin plyo. The day after I did plyo (before I knew I could do cardo x) I was so sore the next day I had a hard time bending down. Hope this helps you

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Just finished plyo and feel great. I had to modify just a bit, but definitely had to pace myself. The workout is intense if the use of large muscle groups. Never knew I could jump so many times in one hour. My biggest issue was the coordination...also, the stupid mat I bought was slipping around and I almost ate it a couple of times. I need to remedy that situation ASAP. Not too shabby for day two. The challenge begins tomorrow as I start back to work. Lets see how motivated I am at 4 AM. I started over the weekend to maximize my efforts during days off. Bring it!

Finished the workout with myoplex, blend of frozen berries and 1 1/2 tsp of creatine. Lunch in an hour!

Hey all!

I'm starting June 8th and can't wait!

I am 6'0 170 lbs and about 17% body fat. I am really looking forward to getting good results by eating right and following my coach's and Tony's tips and instructions.

I plan on posting here everyday, so lets keep each other on task and motivated to BRING IT!

Re:Starting June 6th 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Done with plyo and like many of you, I had to modify some of the moves, but according to heart rate monitor I burned 690 cals which is MASSIVE!
May have a had a beer or two to celebrate but it was in my caloric value for the day
Woke up this morning, gonna do Shoulders and Arms here soon, and note to those who have never done it (i did it as a test run about 2 weeks ago) go light on the weights unless you know you got it..especially on the shoulders, the lateral raises and front raises are tough if you get a weight thats too heavy...
Bringing it everyday!
PS, a great website for calorie tracking that is very helpful is thedailyplate.com (tons of food items, a great graph for charting protein, carb and fat intake, and good info on how many calories you should consume.

I started today, but its close enough that I'll be following with you guys. The ab ripper crushed me and I realize I need to lower my reps to pace myself better. I also am struggling big time on pullups, but that appears to be a common thresd. I'm 36 weigh 207 pounds and I will need some motivation to get through this. Good Luck guys

Awesome! We can keep each other motivated. Glad you are with us for the ride. I am soooooo sore right now that it is difficult to get off the floor. I read some of the other forums that are ahead of us and this seems to be common with the first couple of weeks. The real test starts tomorrow as I head back to work. Alarm is set for 4 am. Whew...that is early.

Robert Ferguson Food Lovers Fat Loss System Review

Introduction

It almost seems like you’ve found the holy grail of fat loss when you start reading about this program.  The weight loss program seems to have the ability to induce strict weight loss in your body while at the same time giving you the choice to eat all of the foods that you love.  Anyone that has looked at these types of programs before will feel intense suspicion instead of a sense of wonder, but both feelings are going to be very strong in nature.  The rest of this article will comment on the program, allowing you to decide for yourself whether this program is worth your time.
