Actually very surprised. Plyo was actually pretty decent today, not as hard as the previous Plyo days have been. Still struggled with some, but did a lot better.

Yea, I feel like I am not going to see amazingly dramatic results everyone wants to see after 30, but I know they are coming. I can feel it.

Fantastic MJB! The third week is almost in the books. I am looking forward to round 2. Just around the corner.

I pushed through legs and back...fantastic workout! Getting better at ARX.

yea did arms/shoulders today, got a good workout and everytime ARX is getting easier and easier.

I'm excited for the recovery week but it's going to suck because I'm going to want to keep lifting! But it will be good before I go into my actual Doubles. Gonna need the rest.

Keep with it.

plyo was still tough for me haha, but it just means im working hard! (not saying you arent tho!)

arms/shoulders was great...love doing that workout because of how huge i look after lol. ARX was actually nice, i only paused twice surprisingly! i gotta admit, one workout that really really kills me is the fifer scissors.......listening to Tony ocunt down is pure hell...."you think im gonna say 11......11!" im thinking to myself like CMON COUNT FASTER DAMNIT hahaha

I agree with you about ARX and those dang scissors. I was hoping to be able to keep up by now...but not the case. I woke up worn out and it crossed into my workout. Completed Kenpo, but it wasn't my most spirited effort. Still burned 600 calories and kept my heart rate in the zone. Looking forward to the cardio week. Woooohooooo!

Whew...just finished the first of two yoga workouts for the week. A lot more tolerable this time. Still not my favorite but it is getting better. I was actually able to hold the crane for .000002 seconds. Small victories. Gained 5 pounds and 1 % body fat. My diet wasn't the greatest...but it also wasn't that bad. Hmmmmmm

Finishing up week 3 by Sunday. Eager to start week 4 and into a new phase. How often are you guys weighing yourself? weekly? Monthly?

At end of week 3, Im able to do slightly more reps/weights than I did before. I also have noticed slight changes in my body. Im seeing muscle curves around my shoulders, arms (very encouraging)... but not ripped yet, i have too much fat covering it all up. Im on a normal low fat diet, do you think weight loss would be slow given that you are gaining muscle??

Yea, the damn scissors are a pain, it seems every time he counts he gets slower and slower. But I am getting through it pretty good now. The main part that bothers me with ARX is my knees, too much running from sports they are so terrible.

Actually skipped today so going to do KenpoX tomorrow (on Sunday) and then a side workout to make up for it. I'm excited for this week and it seems like after Phase II is when the fat starts to melt off and shows the muscle more. So can not wait until after 60 days.

Keep with it.

Stared week 4 today with Yoga. Yoga is easier, but man I do not like it. The first 45-50 minutes with approximately 500 downward dogs is not fun. I'm curious about the core synergistics program. Anyone done it yet? Really looking forward to week 5 with phase II.

Core synergistics tomorrow morning. Was actually suppose to do them today but life got in the way. With the way the 4th week is laid out I will pick up where I left off tomorrow and forgo the Friday down day. Woohooo! Went kayaking for most of the day and feel fantastic. Lots of light chop and paddling kids around...no issues at all. In fact, I felt a ton stronger in the water. I am eyeballing some adventure racing for the fall time period. P90X rocks!!!!!! Just the gut shot I needed.

Cfrye...I agree with you! I really don't care for the yoga, but I feel what it is doing to my overall wellbeing. So...it is a compromise to get through it. Ha!!!!

Finished core synergistics this morning and I have to say it was an extremely challenging workout. I was soaked when finished. I am glad that I now know how to do pushups if I am ever in jail....those little skills you pick up on the way may make the difference later. Ha! I pushed it, but still felt like I was spending to much time watching the screen. Hoping that the second synergistics workout will be smoother.

Whew! Sunburnt from kayaking.... ugh!

Re:Starting June 6th 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
yea I am excited for this week. hopefully because it's a full week of "cardio" maybe tone up a bit (if possible in just the one week). I am going to do some running on the side if my legs feel up for it.

I'll check back in tonight.

Wow, core synergistics was tougher than I anticipated. I'm with you ifly, I was having trouble watching the TV and doing the exercises. It will probably flow better the next time I do it. It felt like a great cardio workout. My heart was racing during several segments.

What's up studs?! We are almost through the week and ready for round 2. I have added some running into my routine to help accelerate and arrest the fat machine. I am going to stick with about 3 miles 4-5 X a week when I can fit it in. I will let you guys know how it works out. I got some advice to increase my calories and make sure they are coming from the right places. I will be on the road all of next week and this will be my first test and commitment. ha!

Kenpo was good today.....I can pretty much keep their pace throughout...couple of stumbles here and there. No big deal.

Put in another 3 miles or so today...felt pretty good about it. Working on increasing calories to keep from bonking. All in all I am pretty happy with the way things are going so far. Still need to check on what is on tap for tomorrow morning.

Did core syn. today and wow, I think i sweat a gallon. Great workout. My family has a history of lower back problems/surgery so some of the exercises I couldn't hold long, but still did em. And am about to do Cardio-X for a little side thing since it's too late to go running right now.

Keep it up, Melt a little fat this week and then get tone in the next 30 days. I'm excited.

Just did core synergistics, holy cow my shirt is drenched. When they started to show you how to do sphinx, I said "YOU CRAZY???" lol but then when I actually tried, I was surprised I could do a few. The exercise where you roll backwards and roll back up... I kept smashing my butt and then couldnt roll back up haha. Hopefully round 2 will be better.

Re:Starting June 6th 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Another round of core synergistics this morning. GREAT WORKOUT! Another 650 calories burnt up. I am heading to a training class on Sunday and will be modifying my workout for the week. I typically start a week cycle on Saturday will do so on Friday this week. I will have to cut my recovery week short, but it will allow me to do the 3 hardest workouts at home before I go on the road and live in a hotel. I am taking my pull up bar with me, but will have no room for weights in my luggage.

I am pumped to start phase II.

How is everyone doing this week? MJB, Cfrye, & Fox...seems everyone else signed off.
