Recovery week #1, need advice. 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Well, I've gotten to recovery week #1.

I'm doing pretty good considering I'm boggling two jobs and 6 classes while doing this.

Question is I'm getting good gains muscle-wise and getting a bit leaner. I'm wondering about two options:

1.) Go about the recovery week as suggested and mix running on the treadmill when I get a chance

2.) Skip the recovery week and maybe continue one more week of the first 3 weeks regimen.

My body is thirsty for more workout, especially cardio. I'm just not sweating nearly as much as I was when I was doing only running.

Go with the recovery week. Dont let the name fool you, you will still be working pretty hard just not as hard as the previous weeks

Syko is right, this is not a week off, this is just a week where you don't lift as much so your major muscles groups can recover but you are still getting in some serious cardio and core work during the recovery week.

2 days of Yoga....hard work.
2 days of Core Synergetics....awesome and hard work
Kenpo....my favorite
X-Stretch (I would do this and then maybe run that day if you could)
