I'm still here. I missed most of last week because I was travelling like crazy. But I've started back yesterday (with Plyo of all things) and I should go pretty much uninterrupted the rest of the way.

Since I was pretty much absent last week, I think I'm gonna do Week 2 instead of doing the recovery week.

Yes!!! i have all kind of issues when trying to do the floor exercises.

Today was yoga day. Skipped it... did another ab ripper & some cardio @ the gym instead.

I did yoga last night, felt i did better with some poses but others quite bad... i have to say i struggle to keep the leg straight it bends about 20 degrees i fight hard but just cant fight hard enough....

for the first time i felt my abs were working during yoga belly 7... makes me think that i havent been doing them right

i think i might just padd up the butt area when i do ab ripper tonite see what happens...

GC my lower back hurts too...

just did Legs & Back ... this was my first time doing the DVD in "Music & Cues" instead of "Normal" mode. I did a lot better not having to listen to Tony so much.

I still feel quite silly doing it even more so then plyo...probbaly because i do look like i am out of my depth with the moves and look like a retard doing them... if this is mr miyagi training then i defintely dont think i will be ready for any kinda wax on wax off during a fight... did finish it the other day though... well hello rest week! i hope its hardcore cos after the last 3 weeks i dont want to stop...

Re:Oct 18/19 Group! 1 Week, 3 Days ago Karma: 0
Just checking in with my Oct 18/19 group. Seeing how everyone is doing. I have been mia from the boards. But still bringing it. I was wondering if anyone has been going up on their weights the first 3 weeks. I found I wasn't feeling the burn at the end of my reps.

Also wanted to see if anyone was getting better at the abs. The first two times I couldn't do all the reps. Now I am able to do all the reps. Seeing that difference already. Also im not really hurting the day after my ab workouts. Anybody else ?

Re:Oct 18/19 Group! 1 Week, 3 Days ago Karma: 0
Hey ChewChew (ha!)

Instead of recovery, I'm actually making up for week 2 this week. I definitely need some heavier dumbbells though. I might go to Play It Again sports this weekend to see what I can find.

I just really started doing Ab Ripper X last week. I was discouraged the first go 'round by not being able to do many reps coupled with my tailbone hurting. I actually discovered that the issue with my tailbone was actually caused by the waistband on the basketball shorts I was wearing. I have a slight slight soreness to my abs, but nothing like I know it can/should be.

Kenpo had me good and sore though

Hello, I started Oct 18th, haven't had time to post.

Going into Phase 2, I ditched the bands and went with the bowflex selecttech dumbells. Not cheap, but I did my first workout with them today and am glad I switched. I couldn't get to the point of failure with the bands, and didn't like the way the resitance felt.

Dustin

OH MY!!! Muscle Confusion is RIGHT!
I thought I had gotten stronger.. Today's workout kicked my butt. I my arms feel like noodles.

I had a lot of trouble with the Plange push-ups but the Pike presses were great.

One-arm push-ups = fail! LoL

Re:Oct 18/19 Group! 3 Days, 9 Hours ago Karma: 0
JJ definetly feel your pain there... the pushup and loads of them were pretty difficult especially to keep up that kinda pace... i think i did about 10 to 16 on each of those different types to start with... got to one arm push up and the plyo pushups numbers went straight down to about 8 or less.... that definetly kicked my arse....

by the way its day 30 today... cant wait to get plyo done and get some photos taken to see the differences....

any one going to post them? i should hopefully tomorrow... would love some feedack from you guys once i do
