I'm still doing my daily thing...just don't have as much time as before to post here.

I did the Chest/Shoulders/Triceps workout today and made it all the way to the One arm balance push-ups where my arms started to buckle under me and I couldn't even hold my weight....yikes! My arms get soooo wasted after this routine...

Hang in there adzent. Missing a few days isn't the end of the world. Just redo the week you missed.

yah its not the end..just think of it as a long pause. and now replay.

phase II day 1 is a bit difficult. i tried to do the 1-arm pushup...couldnt get bak up. so i just did military pushups and declines to make up for it. i think the focus here for is for the shoulders and some tris..chest exercises arent just hittin it. maybe im doin something wrong.

Yeah I'm still here and will be here till the end. I've been doing bad ony diet too but at least I'm not gaining weight. I'm redoing the whole week 7 again due to the short mini getaway last week. Ding a double yesterday yoga and plyo. I feel like my body is using the extra calories to burn fat. Who know? Goto see my 60 day pic to judge that.

Re:oct 12th group.. 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
:/ I seem to of plateaued, I feel like my body fat around my stomach seems to of stopped reducing possibly even increasing in size? I don't know what this is? Is the extra carbs? Or is it simply that I've stopped improving so rapidly Im not noticing it. My diet is good so I really don't understand. I noticed last phase that I saw most of my improvement in the belly on rest week. Is this the case?

On another note I had a power cut yesterday doing 'Back and Bicep'? Luckily my laptop (I play my dvds on it) had plenty of battery, so all I had to do was complete my workout by candlelight .

Fat doesn't plateau only muscle. I feel like I'm losing muscles instead of gaining, wierd. I use to be more stocky now I'm more skinny. I just want to get cut up not lose muscle mass. Maybe I don't have enough protien.

I did CardioX today due to a very sloppy (but delicious) meal with friends last night.

Time to take this thing to the next level. I've been dragging my feet a bit and find myself too "un-focused". Darn baby!

Re:oct 12th group.. 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Awesome you all are still working at it. Sorry to hear about Adzents sister hope she is doing better now..

I am just gonna be honest with you guys. If you want crazy results you really have to focus on diet as much as the exercises for results. My first time through I kept an insanely strict diet and dropped 35 lbs before phase 2 was over. I dropped 14% body fat in that time. You can still get really good results with just the workouts but it doesn't compare to the diet.

Also blobert there are a lot of sections in this program. One week you might lose 10 lbs of fat as your body adjusts.. The next week you might gain weight. Of course that weight is most likely going to be fat but for some people it is frustrating to yo-yo so much. What I do is weigh myself as soon as I wake up which gives me a static result..

I just hope everyone stays focused. Seems like a really good support group here. My fav workout tho is Core.. Just always feel accomplished after I finish.

I agree with weighing yourself as soon as you wake up, but make sure you go the bathroom first, then step on the scale.

Yes! No more Ab Ripper X or Pullups for a week! Not much weightlifting either, my hands need a rest, they're getting pretty bad callus. On other notes has anyone noticed top 2 row of abs are more built than bottom one?

Re:oct 12th group.. 3 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
yeah boblert. Lower abs are much harder to define I have found (in past experiences working out also). There are some exercises that target these abs more than others (leg raises) and we see a few of them in the ab ripper X workout.

On another note I have come down with some sort of bug, flu, etc. I felt extremely exhausted and was having chills and fever...I also had intense muscle pain.

The odd thing is that my wife gave me 2 advil and now (2 hours later) I am feeling fine...a bit tired...but generally ok. I wonder if I should still be weary that the bug has not left.

On a third note, I have made an interesting life decision. For the past 11 years (my working years) I have been regretting not attempting to land my "dream job" as a police officer. I have found out that there is an excellent opportunity for me in our neighboring city. Training at the academy is expensive...but you only need to do it after the city hires you...and thus you are paid! I did not know that!!!

Anyway, loads of interesting things are going to happen in the coming months I think!

Cheers.

Whip,
Good luck with landing your "dream job" ! Not many people have the opportunity to do what they really want. I figure that a fit P90X guy like you should be the first to be hired.
