Hows it going guys? Good i hope.
Well today was chest and back (my most hated workout) and i can really see my strength improving already. I bought new weights at the stars, 17.5 kg, and i need hevier ones already. Well, i pushed it today, in the last five minutes i was on my knees (i was on my knees usually after a few reps of the harder workouts anyway) and i couldnt even do it then, but i pushed through and finished it.
Oh and today i managed to get into jenas that i havent been able to in months, so that was a huuuge confidence booster. I now its a logn way to go, but hell its a start, i must be doing something right, ey?
Plyo tomorrow, the one i absolutely hate to absolutely LOVE!! all ic an say is BRING IT! im feeling so energized fomr this diet, its awesome! lol. Good luck guys, adzent out.

sizc018- yah i had chest/bak yesterday as well. i just think i need another week more than a recovery week.
i think its cool to modify the program a bit just to fit our needs cuz really we feel wat we need and we are not strayin from the program.
adzent-congrats on the added strength..and gettin lean.
plyo is a pain but it does feel good doin it. my motivation for doin it is for the movements for the sports..basketball and football particularly.
im not totally stickin wiht the diet... i do wat i can with wat is cooked for dinner ... no protein shakes just some clif bars and choc milk. and healthy breakfast.

well...I'll admit I'm having a rough go at recovery week. My wife spent a few hours in the hospital tonight and we were hoping they would say "yep, you're staying...she's in labor"...but no...we were sent back home. Needless to say it is quite difficult to think about P90X right now. I need to focus a bit and I'll be fine.

Don't worry about P90X. Just concentrate on family. P90X will wait for you. I missed a whole week during my first round and just picked up where I left off. I remember how it was waiting for a new baby....I did that 4 times! Wishing you and Mrs. Whiplash all the best with the new addition.

I'm in the middle if week 6 and I'm getting sore again from the video especally with shoulder chest triceps. Crazy pushup exercise like fly pushups. I'm still lovin p90x especailly when it's time to take those picture. I don't think I have as much progress phase 1 than in phase 2. I'm sore but not as bad as the first 3 weeks.

OK, i have to fess up, this ha sbeen my worst day of the entire time. so it was bonfire night, i thought id take my day off today so i did, then i ended up getting a full breakfast (death on a plate), and then after that a dominoes steak and cheese subway, and after that a galaxy milkshake. Although it was absolutely delicous, i have now got the binge i was expecting out of the way. It always happens to me on a diet, but now i feel more strong wille dthan EVER to not do it again, i now i will absolutely not binge again, its out of my system. So tomorrow, i will be back on an even stricted diet than i have been doing. Im not seeing the results i thought i would, its week 3 day 3, and i havent seen much change at all really. A bit of fat loss, not much, but do you guys think i will get more results in a lter phase? i mean does that happen to some people, thye dont loose much in the first phase, but in the second or third their body catches up with what they are doing and sheds fat?
God i hope so. Nevertheless, i will stick to this programme with re-newed confidence, energy, diet and motivation! im goign to begin logging my progress in a p90x log on here, so keep an eye out
Hope your all doing better than me, bring it!

I actually lose quite a bit on phase 1 check my pic on eariler post. I was like u too, cheated on my diet but I felt so guilty I once did a triple. Chest back, kempo, and cardio x back to back. If u eat what ur not suppose to u have to paid the price, either by not losing much fat or work on the doubles. Even though I ate junk like u did I think Im still in the groove. My pic will prove it. As a matter a fact I had at least cheated on my diet once or twice a week

You definetly look slimmer espcially ur stomach and side. Dieting is the hardest part p90 x is only an hour but eating habbit is the whole day. In the next phase u will be seeing amazing results. Keep pressing play brother ur not alone.

extremely good progress for 30 days.
AM I THE ONLY ONE NOT LOSSING MUCH WEIGHT!?
Im seriously ocnsidering eliminating legs and back, yoga and using the rest day and doing kenpo or plyo or cardio x on them for super cardio. My diets pretty clean, not th ebest but definately not the worst.....

adzent what's your diet like? I have been eating more protein and less carbs (trying anyway, I love rice and bread) and completely cut out all juice, soda's, cakes, cookies and ice cream. Perhaps a reevaluation of your diet is in order.
Also, I haven't lost any weight on the scale yet my stomach is smaller and my arms and back are larger. You may have more muscle than before but it's still hidden under a layer of fat. I wouldn't replace back and legs for more cardio. The strength training helps you burn more calories at rest than cardio does. Just keep hitting play the result will come.

Well since im in full-time college its difficult to eat healthy. usually a day would consist of
Breakfast 8:30 - Porridge oats (1/2 spoon of sugar)
Snack 11:15 - Apple. ( i am planning on either buying a tuna roll in brown bread in college or making my own sandwiches)
Lunch 2:00 - 4:00 - Usually soup, and bread (sometimes 4 to get my carbs and calories up)
Dinner 5:00 - 6:00 - Regularly mashed potatoes, baked beans and maybe fish, chicken, or some other thing. There isnt much for me to eat with my dinner.
Snack 7:00 - 9:00 - Fruit or fat free "activia" yogurt.
Then if im hungry in the night ill maybe eat another yogurt, some chicken, fruit or dried fruit, maybe even cereal.

adzent, I think your diet is healthy but what you really need to do is eat more protein. It appears to me that you're getting more carbs than protein. Try either eating more meat and beans or taking a couple of protein shakes a day.

Tuna and beans is a perosnal favourite of mine. Many of the things in that diet vary, for example today for dinner i has a salad. It was chicken, lettuce, cheese and salad cream. I had that while my girlfriend had chinese.
I am really finding it much much easier to be the healthy one these days, where as before i wouldve been tempted by that chinese. This programme is not only a turning point in my life, but it is opening my eyes up to what i should be eating.
Getting more protein in and less carbs shouldnt be a huge problem, just a bit of a struggle as i love my bread. The yogurts i was taling about have 0.1g of fat, 10.8 carbs and 5.9 protein. So thats very good, yes? and thye are lush!
Anyway, i cheat my diet at least once or twice a week, according to some you are actually meant to do this, it is beneficial. for me it provides motivation and keeps me sane.lol.

I think we are the most motivated group of this whole forum. Most of the people on the oct 12 group post their logs and progress. Don't give up keep up the good work. People tend to give up, the group I started with are completely gone. I am very greatful to have join your group, even though I didn't start on Oct 12. Started on Sept 28, but the people I started with all quit.

Congrates on the healthy baby boy.
When I started I weighed 185lbs and I still weigh the same however my body feels much more toned and solid (not soft). My waist was 35inches but I haven't measured it since (can't find the measuring tape). I never did take body fat measurements because I don't know how .
I'm really excited because my wife and family has really noticed the difference. I can't wait for the next 60 days to see where P90x takes us. Keep pushing play!
