I found Kempo X challenging. But not a sweaty challenge, more a challenge to get sweaty  . I couldn't break a sweat AND focus on good form. I managed to just about get a sweat on and I tribute this to jumping jacks and fast on the spot running in the small gaps between exercises. I always broke a sweat when I'm boxed so I find this strange to me. I'm thinking maybe using my punch bag or maybe get some heavy gloves on? Any suggestions guys? I had a heart rate monitor on

keep in mind that plyo and kenpo x are very different workouts working on different aspects of your fitness. Plyo focuses on jumps, agility, strength, etc. whereas kenpo is more of a cardio workout with punches and kicks. I personally don't see them as suitable replacements for one another (no offense).

thanks for the input! do you have any suggestions for me? i have a bad knee so i had a hard time doing plyo. would cardio x or interval x be a better alternative?

karmina, I would look at ways to modify the plyo exercises in order to favor your bad knee. If you want to gain mobility and impact resistance on that knee I think plyo is a must...but a modified version maybe.
any physiotherapists here that could chime in?

Just want to let u guys know I'm joining the oct 12 group although I started 9/28. I don't know what happened to my group I think they either quit or slacking off. Can't find anybody in my group posting their progress. Tomorrow is week 4 for me recovery week yes!!!! But I heard it's gonna be tough as he. Especally the core sy. I seen good results already when it's not even 30 days yet. Couldn't get these results in 7 year going to the gym. I'm starting to see a 4 pack around my abs. I'm loving it. Hope u guys don't ever quit like the people on my 9/28 group did. Got p90x plus yesterday and the workout seen twice as hard. Gonna bring the plus program after I'm done with the 90 days.

Oh btw don't drink any caffine stuff before u do any videos. I had one yesterday cause I needed the energy. It made me crash, was doing legs and back. I felt so light heading I almost passed out. I stuggle ready hard to get through my heart felt like it's gonna burst. I pause every excercise just to get my heart rate down. It my 3 week and I've never had this happen before. I'm already use to the program so far and this shouldn't happen. Caffine pumps ur heart faster even doing nothing. So u guy should stay away before a workout.

I already feel my shirt a lil looser...i had a terrible tooth ache on sat. but still managed to do the Kempo X...I liked it....it was pretty fun...

Just registered on the site today.
I am also on week two day one. Just got done with Chest & Back. Will do AB Ripper X later.
I weighed in before starting at 238 (I was at 214 in June!!). I am now at 229. My goal is to finish this 90 days and get another cycle in before the start of spring softball.

Hey guys.
Just finished Legs & Back, and boy was that easy. I mean, i could feel the burn and all but i got bored so easily. I dont need to improve my legs so im thinking of subbing this for either plyo or cardio x.
I must say, i LOVE plyo. Literally. Im drenched afterwards and i now ive had a good workout. Its the best cardio int he whole thing, and im already subbing yoga for plyo. so that 3 plyo x a week. You think ill drop alot of wieght if i do that?
Im still not eating well. I mean, im eating a heck of a lot healthier, but i find myself having the odd snack here and there, and my meals are definately not as healthy as they could be. Today was potato, gravy veg and a mince pie (low fat ofcourse). So im not doing to bad, but i thought id ask;
whats you 2 cents on what im doing. This will be my week (1 - 3);
Monday - Chest and back (hate it)
Tuesday - Plyometrics
Wednesday - Shoulders and arms
Thursday - Plyometrics
Friday - PLyo or cardio - yet to decide
Saturday - Kenpo x
Sunday - rest or plyo if im up to it.maybe something lighter like carido or kenpo.
what do you think of that? Will i loose wiehgt even if its not a strict diet (in sense)?

I think you would lose weight but you should consider following the diet to ensure maximum weight lose.
Alright guys, I just finished chest and back and I must say it has become my favorite workout. I feel so much stronger already. I did like 110 push-ups and 60 pull-ups. I also increase both my weight and reps on the weight exercises. I cant wait to do them again. Now if only there was a way to enjoy yoga the world would be my oyster. See you all tomorrow.

The funny thing is that while you're working out your muscles get so pumped...and it's very motivating!!

Thanks for the warming invite in this group. So far I guess I'm the only one on week 4 cause I start 9/28. They group of people that I started with has gone missing. I trying looking for them but I guess they all gave up. I'm the only soul surviver of the sept 28 group. Even though I start 2 weeks earilier I will keep u guy posted on my workout and duet plans. Tommorrow will be core syingistic my first time. I heard it's twice the ab ripper. Got a good scared for Halloween just by watching the video. Got p90x plus yesterday and it's insane. If u think plyo was hard u have no ideal what the plus has to offer. The total body and ab interval videos offers no mercys at all. No water break this time around. When I'm done with p90x I'm gonna bring it to the plus. Wish me luck!!!!
