i was looking through the nutrition guide and it says that 50% of your diet in phase I should be protein..30% carbs..and 20% fat.
it didnt say the exact amount u should have but during phase I (fat shredder) you should cut down on carbs.
there are ratios out there that tell how much u should have for what you are trying to accomplish like 1.5gms per pound ..etc.. but that is up to figure out depending on what you are trying to do. and if your just trying to lose weight i would first cut out the carbs and fat.. those are the big things that will help shredd some weight.
but this is just my opinion..in no way im a doctor...so talk to yours and do some research...
