Looking For Buddy -Anyone else start on the 28th? 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Looking for a buddy to follow the program with. My hope is that we can help motivate each other by checking in regularly on each others progress!

I'm Female, 24 years old, and 5'5''. I weighed at the beginning of the program around 183, and my basic measurements were 35 waist, and 45 hips. Also I'm doing the lean-version of P90X, and then I hope to start Classic Version after I complete the first 90 days.

Find any buddies to keep progress with? I noticed it was your second post.

Anyways, hope you find some people to share horror stories with! If all else fails, you can always join a group that is already in motion, or just talk in your own thread here. People will chime in to share their stories as you bring up yours.

Bring it!

Hi!
I started on the 29th and am doing the classic version. Other than being really, really sore, I like it. I am starting slow and taking my time, as I am not in the best shape. My goal is to actually be able to do a pullup. I want to get more upper body strength, and energy, and lose my stomach (or at least get it back to what it was in high school). I also need to keep up with my kids.

I can't see this program failing people but rather the other way round. I've just completed the first week and I've been sore all over every single day. This program is not for people who just got off the couch as it IS very intense and therefor must do the P90 (no X) classic program before attempting this workout.
If you are a couch potato and all motivated by the late night infomercials don't bother! or rather do the program and tie that little voice you have in your head to a chair and tape their little mouth up TIGHT! and go ahead with the program and let your body adjust and slowly shape itself into the guys on the video...

I started on the 28th too. Just found this website, looks like a great place to get info and support!

I'm a male, 40 years old, 5'11" and 209lbs. I used to be active and fit, but I've let myself go the last several years. My goal is to get back in shape, lose 25 lbs, and get rid of my dreaded love handles.

I'm doing the Classic program, and just finished my last workout for week 1. Before I started I thought I’d be ok with the workouts, but really struggle with the diet. It’s actually been the opposite for me, the only challenge I’ve had with the nutritional plan is consuming my target # of calories and protein. I haven't even had any serious cravings for pizza (my favorite food). I feel good about finally giving some thought into what I’m stuffing into my mouth.

It has been the workouts that have been kicking my butt. I was ridiculously sore the first 4 days. I couldn’t straighten my arms for 3 days. Yoga X was also a very humbling experience. It was my first time doing yoga; it made me realize just how poor my balance and flexibility is.

Finally after my 5th day, I started feeling great. Last night I felt so good that I decided to go on a long bike ride yesterday. Unfortunately I totally bonked when I was still 10 miles from home. I guess I need to learn my limits

lol Yoga X! I had a tough time with that too. But it's the first week so I'm expecting it to get much easier throughout the next 3 weeks...

Plyo killed me---I was hobbling around like an old lady after that one. The yoga was good too-----who would have thought you would sweat so much!! There was some stuff I couldn't do---esp. keeping the legs completely straight. I figure over time I will be able to.

Just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing....

Week 2-Day 4: today was my second go at YogaX. While I still struggled mightily with my balance and flexibility, I was thrilled because I did so much better than in week 1!

I haven't noticed any physical change yet, but I'm not worried about that since that will come in time. I feel great and I'm even getting used to waking up at 5am to workout

Hope you all are doing well!!!

Just keep morning exercises moderate. Non of the high intensity stuff. You'll put a lot of strain on your heart, keep it light to moderate cardio. Don't strain yourself, morning exercise is supposed to just fire up the engine, leave the hardcore stuff for the afternoon...

Robert Ferguson Food Lovers Fat Loss System Review

Introduction

It almost seems like you’ve found the holy grail of fat loss when you start reading about this program.  The weight loss program seems to have the ability to induce strict weight loss in your body while at the same time giving you the choice to eat all of the foods that you love.  Anyone that has looked at these types of programs before will feel intense suspicion instead of a sense of wonder, but both feelings are going to be very strong in nature.  The rest of this article will comment on the program, allowing you to decide for yourself whether this program is worth your time.
