Geez...I hurt 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Just finished Day 2, and I cant feel any worse at this moment. I wanted to quit halfway through the workout, but just hit the pause a little more than I should...But I completed it. Im sore from yesterday, and I probably wont be able to climb stairs at work tomorrow, but I will make sure I hit the play button again for Day3. I have a question on some supplements???I bought the multi-vitamins from GNC, along with some Whey protein, and Creatine. I have not had a diet coke for three weeks now, and am excessing over a gallon of water a day. For some reason when I urinate during the day, my pee is a flourescant yellow. I mean it is bright!!!As the day goes on it turns basically to water. I guess Im just trying to find out if this is normal? Ready for Day 3!!!

One more quick question. I felt like I got nothing out of Ab Ripper on Day 1, cause my body was so spent. Do most prefer to do the Ab workout before the Chest and Back, or Shoulders and Arms workout?

The bright yellow urine is from the vitamins. Excess vitamins are being excreted. My guess (and it's only a guess) is that there's more vitamin B in the multi than your body can use. I say B because I was taking vitamin B along with my other vitamins, and when I ran out of the B, the yellow stopped.

The ARX is supposed to be done after every weight lifting workout, i.e., 3 times a week. You will probably have a tough time getting through all of it the first few times, but as you get stronger it will get easier. Okay, not easier... just less impossible...

I agree on the difficulty of Ab Ripper X after workouts. I am in week 3 right now and still can't do all the reps in Ab Ripper, but I am improving. Set your own goal and try to do just that many and then rest while Tony and the gang finish the set. Then start the next one. The first week I started at 10, then 15 in week 2, and up to 20 now. You will be doing this workout 3 days a week for the whole 90 days, so build up to what they are doing on the DVD. As caedenspa said, it will get less impossible over time

Yes, bright yellow pee is because of B vitamins. It's a good sign, means you are getting enough of them!

Some people do the ARX at a different time of the day, so they get a better workout. Better to break the two workouts up if you're unable to do ARX in a meaningful way. I started by doing ARX right after, but now I sometimes do it in the morning, or before the resistance workout, just to make sure I do it!

Thanks everyone. I thought the viatmins was the culprit, but I still was a little worried.
One more quick question...I am using ch.milk as a recovery drink (6oz) how can you tell if the ch.milk is 1% or not? I bought the Prairie Farms brand, but cant find the answer anywhere on the carton.

Whats up man I just finished day two also and yes I hurt to lol. The pee thing I think it is normal. I have the same problem and I talked to my buddy who is a doctor and he told me not to worry about it. The creatine thing, I have done a lot of reading on this crap and yes I said crap. This stuff puts a lot of water in your muscle's and when you quit working out they sag a lot more than normal. But I could be wrong. My buddy who is a competition body builder said to me don't take it. Just use whey protein. Hope this helps.

Re:Geez...I hurt 10 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Brandon-did you have to hit the pause button quite a few times on Day2? One of my biggest problems is that I cant start the routine until 9:00pm cause of my kids, after the workout, I feel exhausted, but my adrealine keeps me awake until around midnight. I dont know what else to do, cause my job requires me to be at work for 10hrs. Anyone else have any comments on the creatine? I have taken it 30 minutes before both workouts, and during the workout I feel quite nadsuated (sick) That is usually when I hit the pause, and try to get some deep breaths in.

No I didn't hit pause at all just because my wife took the remote lol. She knows I will hit pause and make a 1 hour workout about 2 or 3. I just stuck with it and did as many as I could. I am not trying to brag or nothing like that please don't get me wrong. I don't want to make myself sound like a bad a*@. I couldn't keep up with them so I had to stop before they did.

Tony says don't eat anything at least 1hr before Plyo, or you will feel sick. I take my creatine in my recovery drink after my workout.

Brandon, did she really take the remote? How cruel, it's still my best friend, depending on the day and my endurance level. Even Tony says to take add'l breaks if necessary, tell her it's OK. You'll notice an improvement every week, you'll be doing more, pausing less.

She really did. And when she took it i laughed like an idiot lol. No it helped me when she took it because I felt like I was letting tony down if I pushed pause. I told her thanks and it would be worth it in 90 days. But I did get the remote back when I was done. My dirty jobs was coming on then lol.

Taking the remote. Now that's love right there. Somebody give that woman a medal!
CREATINE
Creatine sould be cycled if used. By the way for those of you using the P90X recovery drink. There is actually a small amount of creatine in every serving. As for pros and cons. I am for it. I have been out of the drink for 3.5 weeks. Next week I am starting my Second Phase II. Which I plan on using Creatine on the resistance days. Two weeks on then two weeks off.

Don't get me wrong, I do not want to be a body builder. I am not loading up on the stuff, just one small dose a day for Two weeks. I just want a little more out of the next two phases. I have read and heard that it also helps your recovery and muscles repair.

Anybody else?

Ken

I toss a little creatine in my substitute recovery drink, so it matches up to Tony's product. Should I be concerned about cycling that small amount?
