Hi,
I am going to be starting the P90X program on Monday October 13.
Anybody else out there starting Monday or this week coming up?
Maybe even anybody for round two or more...
If so let's get started together and maybe it will help us all stay motivated if we know someone else is going thru the same program.
I am male 32, 6'-0" 185lbs approx. 23% BF. Always active, been competitive in Road Racing, X-C ski, biathlon(winter), triathlon, in-line skating and I have completed one Marathon(7yrs.ago)
Last Thursday I was riding my bike downstairs and the P90X info-mercial comes on. That got me going... I need something different. Did the research, ordered the next day, found this forum which is great by the way, got some equipment to complete my home gym, received P90X package yesterday and I am already to go. I did the fit test and few other workouts to shock my body again into some resistance training to get my self ready.
Anybody with me...or any feedback

Welcome, I am almost 30 days into the program. I originally started a week behind two of my friends and now im past them. Dont let what was suppose to be motivation do the opposite. With my two friends slacking i so wanted to but just kept pushing play and now my motivation is to be the first (out of my friends) to finish and not slack. Get your mind set and be prepared to bring it.

Hey Guys,
First day was tough but felt great. Chest and Back(Classic) was intense. Was able to do pull-ups but with help from a chair for most reps. Did 15-20 reps for the push-ups. Round two was a killer!
Ab Ripper was awesome. Great workout , stuff i've never done before.
I was definitly feeling it this morning when I did Plyometrics, but this was a fun intense workout. My left knee started to hurt half way through so I had do less impact.
Let's keep going everybody and good luck.

Hey Wondou,
Purchasing Winsor Pilates was not a bad purchase. My wife has the program and she used a bit and thought it was a good workout for some fat burning and getting lean.
I guess it all depends on what your goals are. Do want to get toned, ripped or bulk up...I don't think just doing pilates is going to get you there.
P90X will do all of that for you.
If your goal is to shed some fat then do the program and then possibly in the future move to P90X to acheive further results.
