Changing up order of exercises? Meal plan? 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Has anyone tried changing the workout days?

I was thinking of doing yoga-x on saturday's and x-stretch on sunday's? But I wasn't sure if this would mess with the program...

By the way I'm doing the classic version. I guess I would just like to have the weekends off if I can!

Also... since I don't have any weight I need to lose, do you think it's bad if I have candy once in a while... or a few cookies??

I guess I'm not sure if this is going to hurt my body! The most I probably need to lose is 5lbs. I would think (I'm 5"9 and 135lbs.)

Thoughts?

Since it sounds like you can afford the calories, I'd just make sure you ate sugary snacks around the same time as some food with protein or fiber, so it won't affect your blood sugar as much.

As for the exercises, I'm sure that's OK, just as long as you aren't doing resistance routines two days in a row.

I agree.

Also, you may want to try consuming them earlier than three hours before bed. It's a little trick that can help keep the pounds from accumulating.

In fact, you might want to consume them an hour or so before your workout...as long as you don't feel "full" after eating them. Otherwise, you might see them again during your workout!

My "Monday" is usually a Tuesday as I have martial arts class on Monday nights and wanted to avoid lifting on that day. The other night for class is Thursday and so it's another non-lifting night. By the way...it's always fun to bring other workouts into a class format. My instructor got me started in P90X. Tonight, we'll do Kenpo/Cardio Plus for 45 minutes, then do our normal workout. Great stuff!! Feel free to adjust the schedule to suit your needs, following Veerukka's tip, and you'll do fine.

Have fun,

Kevin

We've changed some workout days so that all our pull up days could be done at school. We've got it where Plyo and Yoga fall on Saturday and Sundays when we are at home. It's worked pretty well so far.

P90X Excel trackers
Re:Changing up order of exercises? Meal plan? 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: -2
The trick is to keep the rest of the schedule strait when making frequent changes. When I started my second round of P90X, I decided to heavily modify the schedule to fit a hectic work schedule and because my goals were more maintenance than anything else. That's partly why I developed the XtremeFit Tracker for P90X software. It has an easy to use feature that allows me to switch, replace, or remove any routine while keeping the rest of the schedule intact.
Cheers,
WorkoutSoft.
