I have been watching p90x infomercials for years and I just graduated college, I now have time to dedicate my mornings to P90X. I'm just looking for a support buddy to do it with me.

Hey man good luck. I started two weeks ago, but mabey I can give some support having two weeks on the program already...I am psyched to start week three. I have seen results, I was skeptical at first, but I can see the body fat melt away. I am not in my twenties anymore..I am 41, but I think I am going to be in better shape than I ever was when I was in my twenties...Good luck tomorrow morning...

I also started two weeks ago Chew44. I will jump in here when I can as well. Did you do any sort of warm up weeks for the program? Prepare to be sore. Good luck. I got my rest day tomorrow, which means I play hockey.

So I would like to join you for the journey! I have to be honest I have had the program for over a year and have never seen to be able to finish it. I am 23, in the military and the heaviest I have ever been in my life. I am 5'9 and 205lbs. I was a college athlete and since now just a coach sloth! I would like to lose 30+lbs before my birthday/anniversy. So please feel free to message me for my personal email!
Just a couple of questions for you. What are your goals? How early are you working at? Which program are you doing?
Thanks
Chris

I'll be joining you as well!! This is going to be my 2nd time doing it, after stopping 9 weeks into it last time because of non-workout-related injury. Be sure to take your recovery drink after working out! And don't get discouraged the first couple of weeks because you'll be quite sore but you'll be amazed how fast the fat melts away if you follow a good diet.

Thank you all for being there with me. My goals are to get cut because I've been working out in the gym every now and then for the past 4 years and I hit the plateau effect and I can't stand my school's gym. I want to see what my body's potential is and give myself a new dedication since school is over. I'm either going to work out at 7:00 am or after my 2 final summer classes around 2. I'm doing the classic version, but I'm worried I'm going to get so sore after monday I won't be able to do ab ripper again wednesday. Over the past week I've been trying to get the early soreness out by hitting the gym, but I don't think it was enough. I'm 6'1" at around 175 180 pounds, but weight isn't a concern of mine I just want a good chiseled body that I can add weight to after the 90 days. My biggest problem is going to be the dieting, but my normal diet is chicken breast/veggies/wheat bread/ but I love cheese. Never mind all of that I'm just excited to finally have the drive to begin.

Good morning everyone! Ok so chest and back wasnt to bad. Feeling good and I had to get up super early. I am ready for a life change and I am overdue for one. My goal is to be down to 170 by Sept. So 35lbs to go. I had to skip ab ripper x this morning, but it will be my afternoon excercise. It is exciting to have everyone pumped. My email is

if anyone wants it.
I would also like to start a running program and my goal is too run atleast three times a week. I promised my wife I would help her lose weight too so we promised eachother we would go to the gym at least three times a week. i figure the gym three times a week and walking the dogs should be enough. The diet is really the only thing that worries me about the program. I am going to follow the portion approach first. My goal would be to quit soda all together and also try to quit eating around 630pm. Well everyone hope all is well and talk to ya later!

I really suggest sticking to the diet. You can work out all you want, but if you aren't following a nutrition plan, all of those muscles you are builing will remain hidden behind a wall of fat...

Im just starting this today actually. I keep going over the nutrition plans and workout plans. Im kinda confused on how to do it. I am about 160lbs and about 5'3. I want to lose a little weight but Im not too worried about it. I want to get toned and get flat abs. I have no idea about which nutrition guide I should follow though. Wish me luck!

Good Luck! You really need to be on the nutrition plan. I think you would be phase 1 (boarder line) level II if you are following the book which you would get 2400 calories a day. (I am no expert) Just reading from the book. Now, I am a Level I and try to stay below 1500 calories a day. On Yoga and rest/stretch day I try to stay under 1100. This works for me. You will have to find what works for you. The book is very easy to go by. I like the portion approach.
A few of my friends didn't get the results they wanted after 30 day and stayed on phase 1 and cut back the calories. Be in tune with your body. It will tell you if you aren't getting enough calories.
Best of luck to you!

Hey everyone! How about posting your goals and also struggles you may have.
Me personally I would like to help my wife get in shape and also be fit again. Today I weighed in at 205lbs and a 38in waist. My goal is 170 and a 32in waist. I am also going to start running three times a week. I feel good today and looking forward to plyo tommorow. Word to the wise no matter what time you work out hydrate! atleast 90 ounces a day!
Well struggles would definitely be the diet! Well day 1 down and only 89 days to go!

My goal is to kick my husbands rear end in the Columbia mud run happening in Sept by at least 5 minute. This program should have me ready. The only thing is, he is doing to program with me so who knows? I also want to be 12-15% bodyfat by my 2nd round of P90X.

Well my wife and I made it through day 1 a little sore, but not too bad. Having not done anything but run for the past year it was a bit harder for me doing some of these moves.
The nutrition part went good as well. This is so much more food than I'm used to eating so it was a little bit of a challenge chocking it all down.
GL on Day 2 everyone.

Plyo was awesome this morning. This is our second week and I was hurting like a dog. I couldn't keep up with those guys but tried my tail off. We had 2 of the 7 people in our group that meet at my house at 5am drop so far. I think the 5 of us are pretty solid. Going to hit Cardio X in a few, need some extra cardio to burn this gut. Keep BRINGING IT!! The first week seems so hard due to the shock of this type of workout, but the second time doing some of these seems to be easier, I think its because its not as confusing since you've already seen it once. AWESOME job people. GET SOME!!
