We made it through Yoga last night somehow. I'm with you David that's got to be the worst workout so far. I dread it like the plague. And its not that I can't do the moves, I can get most of them. Its just not fun for me so I dread it. All the other days I really enjoy. Yoga not so much. and I have to do it twice next week.

The nutrition is going well for us. We did have a treat last night, the kids brought home cookies for fathers day from school so I couldn't disappoint them and we ate 'em.

Well at least I have BnL to look forward to and Kenpo.

Keep bringing it everyone. 3 weeks in and still doing great!

Getting ready to do some core. I am still hurting from Tues core workout lol.

I had a wonderful breakfast this morning. My mother gave me some zucchini from her garden the other day. I stir fried it with olive oil, carrots, garlic, salt, peppper, sesame seeds, and a touch of soy sauce. My breakfast was less than 150 calories and I was so full I couldn't finish the whole meal.

Keep Pushing Play!

I had a bad day yesterday. Didn't do Yoga and ate a lot of carbs, although not much fat.

Am back on today and did Yoga and am eating correctly.

Was upset about yesterday but getting back on the horse today has made me happier, as if I stray on a diet/exercise program ... then I really go back to square 1. Not this time. So I am pleased in that respect.

To make up for things I was going to carry on as follows:

Out of sync:
Fri: Yoga
Sat: Legs, Back and ARx
Sun: Kenpo

Back in sync:
Mon: Yoga
Tue: Core
Weds: Kenpo
Thurs: Stretch
Fri: Core
Sat: Yoga
Sun: Stretch

Yesterday I finished with YogaX, i was sweating buckets out there..I still can't do the crane In and out it was still a good workout..

Today was Legs and Back, and I am happy about the fact that I was quite good with my pull-ups as compared to Monday (Chest, Back) and previous weeks, but my legs are ON FIRE...those wall lunges are a KILLER..

ABX (for evening)

I think I will have to skip Kenpo tomm as I am going on trip to Harrison Hot Springs with my buddies...I will probably do it on Sunday!

Whats up peeps? Here is a little update, I ended up doing ARX & Kenpo on Friday and Today I did Legs & Back and later on I am doing Cardio X.

Legs & Back went good though. Last week I did 109 pull ups 17 were without the chair. Today I did 89 pull ups 49 without the chair(That is 32 more BTW), lol. I was REALLY glad I felt like I was finally doing real sets! And now Into the recovery week I am on a P90X high!

PS. I am at 145lbs I started at 148 or so. My BF went from 14% & now its at 11%! (I must be packing on the muscle) haha. I cant wait to take see what happens this next week! BRING IT!

Well done David

To go from 14 to 11 in such a short period is a great result.

You carry on with this level of effort and Day 90 will be a great day

Thanks mig, I am very happy with my results so far. Though the body fat calipers aren't 100% accurate, I'm pretty sure that 3% is a good implication of some loss.

Did yoga not too long ago. Had a hard time finding the want to do yoga. Glad I pushed play. I felt awesome afterwards. I am very excited about starting week 5 Monday. I will be taking pictures for day 30 tomorrow. Hope everyone has a wonderful Fathers day!

Finished Kenpo a bit ago. That's my favorite workout right now. We get pumped up for it a lot!

I'm really not looking forward to the recovery week. I'm feeling so good right now I hate to lose the weights for the week. and 2 yoga days on top of all that, yuck...

Enjoy the day off everyone and if you a Dad..happy Fathers day to you!

A good day

Have finally caught up with my day off and ready to start the phase 1 recovery week.

I did yesterday's Kenpo today. I love Kenpo. My favourite of all the sessions. remind me of that on Wednesday morning!!

Judging by what Angie says about Core ... I don't see much recovery happening lol.

Hello P90X'ers,

Hope everyone had a great Father's Day weekendSo,I couldn't do Kenpo on Sat so I did it yesterday and boy I enjoyed it. Clearly, it's a favorite amongst all of us..Today its chest and back, ABX..I have another 2 weeks to go before I hit the recovery phase..Yes, instead of 4 weeks of Phase 1, I am doing 5 weeks of it.. I kinda missed a couple of workouts in my second week so to reap the full benefits of the first phase I decided to extend it to a week..

But Good luck to everyone who are in their recovery week

Thanks Karn

I have Core tomorrow ... i'm kinda scared if i'm honest!!

Yoga today. Came on leaps and bounds compared with my last Yoga workout. Being in the recovery week I get to do Yoga 3 times in 8 Days so I hope that I can progress even further still, come Fridays session.

Feeling great and happy with my progress.

Keep bringing it June 1st'ers!!

We had a good fathers day. We did go off the diet a bit, its hard not to have BBQ when 20 other people are chowing down on it. So I offset it with fruit, lots of fruit.

I'm actually not looking forward to the recovery week. I've really been enjoying the workouts and want to keep it up. Especially if I can cut the yoga portion out of this week.

Ah well I'll suck it up and make it through and get to the good stuff next week.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Havok

I noticed I improved a lot with Yoga today. I partly believe it is because it is only a few days since I last did it rather than the usual week.

Suck it up as it made me feel good today.

Re:Changing my life June 1st, Who wants to join me? 8 Months, 4 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi all,

I am at the day 1 of week 4 and i am wondering if i should do another week as week 1 to 3 or if i should start recovery week

I attached a pic of day 1 and i lost 10 pounds or so, mostly on the belly...
Also, my muscle are more define that it was before on my arms and back.
I am also feeling more and more tired of the training maybe telling me to have more carbs.

So the question is should i move to recovery week or add another week of phase 1?

I guess i will continue losing fat during phase 2 anyway...

Recovery week

It's there for a reason. They are so good that they put 3 of them in over the 13 weeks.

I think Core will be hard. Yoga makes me sweat the most. There's a lot of effort in the so called recovery week.

I found the end of last week hard and was craving carbs.

10 lbs in 3 weeks is good. You didn't look too badly out of shape on Day 1 ... so 10 lbs from that point is pretty decent in 3 weeks. you should be pleased.

Keep with the program i'd say.

Thank for the nice words. No i don't think I was totally out of shape, had the belly and love handle of a 30 year old that did more couch than exercises for the last 3 years... lol.
And i am very pleased with the results SO FAR.
Now i would like to gain some volume...

I will stick with the program then.
I am also kinda scared of core synergistics, i watched a bit to know what to expect and...
Whereas we were thinking adding ARX to the recovery week, i think now that will not be necessary because core will stain them so much...

I am so looking forward day 28: picture, measure and more carbs..lol

I am also struggling with the body fat %: we are using a impedance scale and let me tell you that as bad as it can get.
It seems very very dependant on hydratation level.
First week i forced myself to drink and lost 7% and a week after (without drinking much) i was almost back up to the starting point.
In conclusion, the body fat % is now approximated via mirror analysis lol

Mirror analysis every time.

I also use the 'how do my jeans feel today' - ometer. Highly scientific!!
