Well another yoga is in the books. I can honestly say that is my least favorite workout. I feel guilt drinking a recover drink afterward. I just don't feel like I deserve it after that workout, or lack there of. By then end I'm literally almost asleep on the mat.
Well I only have to do it what this can't be right 11 more times. Agh. Now I'm depressed.

Morning June 1sters
Did my first Core session today ... not too taxing. I think I'd mark myself as a 7 on this. I can improve by knowing the exercises better (superman, banana etc).
Diet has been on point today as well.
Also have been doing some painting to add to the calorie burn.
All in all, a good day.

We did the Tue and Wed work outs as planned. I have to say this week I'm not feeling 100% on the workouts. I don't know what it is but I'm really tired this week. Once I start the work out I'm good, but wow its been rough. We're just going to keep fighting through it though.

Day 32 and feeling great! We woke up and mowed the yard (I mowed hubby did the weed eater), took the kiddos to the pool (I am now in pain from sunburn), took some pictures, ran 2 miles, and did some yoga x. Very busy day. I don't see as much change as I was hoping for in my Day 30 pictures. I posted them in my journal and on my profile. I can't wait for some Legs & back tomorrow! Keep Pressing Play!

Well done for passing the first third of P90x
I can see changes.
Remember you are starting at a leaner base than others.
Take me for example. I weighed in at 230 lbs when I started with 25% body fat. You were in significantly better shape at the start than myself so I should see more dramatic results than yourself assuming we both stick at it to the same level of dedication ... which we are doing
Either way, you look in great shape so P90x should be more about maintaining that and making yourself feel fitter and good inside.

I agree with Mig, I think the 1st 30 days are bodies are just getting used to it. I'm looking for some big improvements in the next 30.
Well that was my first go at Stretch X and I must say it was pleasant. Nothing to difficult and it felt good for the most part. I'm looking forward to next week.

Day 33 Legs & Back We almost had to take today as a rest day. We ended up finishing Ad Ripper at 10:30 pm. It felt good. I didn't get cardio in today but did do a lot of cleaning. I didn't stop moving.

I have to say these weeks are going by so quick! Its already been officially one month! Im excited! The only thing is I need to get different weights. I got some more but they arent working very good. I think Ill get some more tomorrow. That core workout is crazy! I know now that I do not have much core strength. No wonder it looks the way it does!! lol. Well I wish everyone luck with the new week!! Keep strong, do your best and forget the rest!!

It has gone by so quick.
Phase 2. When I started I wasn't sure I'd last it out so to get this far is a great achievement.
Had a quick look through the Chest, Shoulders and Tri workout ... and saw the Plyo Pushup ... think i'll need a pillow under my face!!
Woainee - what about the Bowflex Selectechs? I ordered some in the UK in mid May hoping they would be here for the start. Only arrived on Friday just gone. I think that is because it took them so long to be shipped out.

Yep, these 4 weeks have just flown by. I can't believe how much better I feel. I went for a Mnt Bike ride yesterday and I felt great. I road my normal trail and pushed through it all, well I still walked my bike on the cliff area, Heights I can't do. But the big hills I did and loved em.
Grats to everyone that's made it this far.
I also grabbed the Bowflex dumbbells, a tad pricey. But so much better than having 12 sets of dumbbells laying around.

Day 29:
Chest, Shoulders and Tri's ... what a work out. Plyo Push Up .. failed. I just reverted to normal Push Ups during this session.
I think over the last few weeks I began to get accustomed to the exercises in the first phase ... and today was like going back to school after a long break. But that is the secret of P90x ... muscle confusion ... and today my muscles (and brain) are confused.
As before though, I know it will come good over the next few weeks with practice. Same old, same old hey folks?

First time in nearly 10 days due to the recovery week. Wow. i was so much better at it than before. Can I put this down to the Core workouts from the recovery week?
Post workout felt really good. It is another scorcher here today so to get through the workout creates a lot of sweat ... but it is worth it.
I always have cereal and milk after a workout. It always tastes better after workout than say having it in the morning. the body needs that fuel after a workout don't it

I have decided to ditch my personal log and post on here. I often repeat myself so think I will stick to this thread in future.
Day 30:
Woohoo ... 1/3 the way through!!
Plyo for the first time in 2 weeks due to the recovery week. I found this very hard. almost as hard as the first time. I blame the heat and not having done it for 2 weeks.
Those that knock the recovery week I would like to raise 2 points:
1) The core work appears to help with Abripperx
2) Not doing Plyo for 2 weeks means that when you do it on Day30 ... you will find it hard.
What an awesome plan P90x is.

I hope your are all doing pretty good, recovery week was not as recovery as expected, with those Core synergistics.

Wow was CS&T a great workout. I loved that, its great to be out of the recovery week!
Glad to see there are a few of us still here.
How'd everyone like those 1 arm'd push ups. That was the only one that gave me a lot of trouble.
Yeah 3 carbs!! I never thought I'd be happy to be eating a whole bun.

stef, wow nice going! definitely some toning and definition going on. We'll take ours tonight and I hope I see similar results.
We did our BF % last night and I was only down 2%, my wife is down 4. I can really tell a difference with her she has lost a good portion of body fat. I'm really proud of what she's been able to do!

I am definitively happy with the results so far (I wouldn't have mind better.. lol)
As far as the BF% goes, i am not sure i can believe the impedance scale we have at home because it's usually pretty high and it tells me that i lost around 10%. Maybe maybe not... i don't know what to tell about those measure. So now i base everything on mirror and pictures and measures.
Maybe it's time that i order some calipers...
I wish similar or better results to all my fellow 1st juners...
Since recovery week, i did a level 1.5 portions plan that i will try and keep if i feel good.

Day 31:
Back and Biceps
I was led into a false sense of security seeing that the video was only 50 minutes long. Started my ballistic stretchers thinking nice early finish today ... WRONG!!
Very hard workout!! I struggled with the Corn Cob Pull Ups. I managed about 6. On other forms of Pull Ups I can hit 16. Even on the change over ones.
The great UK heat also hit me hard today.

Well today was the 1st day we really broke our diet. It was my wife's birthday and so we made pizza, and had cake. 1 day shouldn't kill us.
Looking forward to the new workout tonight.
