Been at it for weeks, finally posting! 6 Months ago Karma: 0
Hey everyone! I've sorta been lurking this forum since I started P90X on May 14, but due to some strange reason haven't been able to register as a member to post. Oh well, problem solved now. I guess I won't break tradition and give some background info. I'm 18, soon to be 19, about to start my sophomore year in college come august. I'm 6 1/2 ft tall and weigh around 185. I was a freak in high school..captain of soccer team, running cross country, playing football; but after a long year in college I have gained the typical "freshman 15." So after the verbal abuse from my older skinnier brother about being "chubby" and of course for my own self gratification I've decided to get back in shape.

bored yet??

ANYways, I'm curious as to who else is in my boat as far as progress goes. I will be starting my fourth week on wednesday. Wow, time flies when your having fun! My biggest inspiration is my goal of doing like 25 pull ups with ease when im done. (I can do like 5 now) But I'm making a hell of an improvement. It's exciting!

Soooo... I talk about this way too much to my girlfriend apparently so I gotta find some friends on here to share my goals and whatever with.

Ill post my before and after pics on here soon as well. (1-20-something day) Recovery week sounds boring.

Welcome Krantze

Good job finishing Phase 1, Chubrock will be your graduating buddy, she's a couple of days ahead of you.

recovery week is boring but beneficial that's where the growth happens. I came out of recovery week doing 84 mason twists my first day back

your goal of 25 easy pull ups is a nice one, I'm sure you'll get there sooner that you think.

Thanks Les, I need that kind of motivation! I figured I'd just run everyday during recovery week to help make it interesting. I guess it will be nice to not be sore all the time.
