Hello,

I am restarting this program on 08/31. I found going through the program the 1st time around this forum really helped to keep motivation going and keep me focused throughout the program. I would really like to keep that motivation going. So if you are up to the challenge come join me on 08/31 as I restart my program.

Hi there,

I'd like to the second round of P90X Lean routine as well. So, I guess we will be in the same support team AGAIN. My results after finishing the first round were amazing, really fabulous. I must mention that during the third phase I was doing an additional training on Saturdays, which was hiking (95F and very high humidity) usually doing around 15 miles. As this took a half of a day to complete it, I burned tons of calories and my abs finally started to become more visible.
However, after my recent holiday I feel it is time to start the P90X Lean routine again. I need to get rid of that holiday layer of fat on my abs.

That's totally awesome that you have been able to complete your Hikes during the P90X training. I am working on getting fit for a 1/2 marathon looking at some running programs. I too have been able to tell I have abs with a little definition. I believe in the next round of the Lean program and really focusing on the diet portion of the program I will have those ripped abs.
I didn't want to wait too long before restarting the program so, I'm really happy to have someone restart with me that has been through it before. So Good luck to us both and can't wait to get going.

Hello. I would like to join in with you all. I got through week 7, went on a 2 1/2 week cross country vacation and decided it was better to just start from day 1 again. My wife is joining me with doing the Classic version...her first go at it was with the lean program. I started on Saturday, 29 August. The group I was with were fantastic and we kept each other motivated throughout....looking for the same.

So...if you don't mind...I would like to join up.

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are as excited as I am for day one tomorrow. I have been preparing all weekend and getting some of my temptations regarding my diet out the way this weekend. Getting the house ready to get rid of the Junk stuff. I pretty much did not follow any diets this weekend just ate all the things I knew would be taboo during the next 90 days to get that out of my system.

Here's my starting numbers:

Weight 159

Arms R/L 11" 10.5"

Chest 37"

Waist 35"

Hips 37"

Thighs R/L 22" 21"

Calfs R/L 14" 14"

Bodyfat % 27.8%

I went grocery shopping today and I bought a lot of fish/chicken breast/turkey and tuna. These will be my meats and bought lots of veggies. It's a good start for me. I also have lots of oatmeal and multi grain cereal.

Lots of luck to everyone and I look forward to hearing how your first day went. Bring it folks.

Hi there, I am starting today as well. So if you don't mind I'd like to be part of the group. This is big for me because I need to lose 50 more pounds and also need to add exercise into my program. I have lost quite a bit already but these last 50 are a hard lose!! So here I am ready to roll. I hope I can keep up. My son just started bootcamp and I am determined to go do his graduation looking as good as I am sure he will.

Started on Saturday and have arms and shoulders today. I am out on a business trip and will be using the bands. Felt great to be sore again. I have to say...plyo is still tough no matter how many times you have done it. Was able to push through a lot easier but still had to extend the waterbreaks an extra minute to get my heart rate down...it was peaking above 90%. Diet is coming along....need to count the calories and watch portion size. I love to eat. I still presently struggle with pull ups, but bought a weider powerstand with weighted assist to help build the right muscles.

I started yesterday Day 1 and I'm doing the Lean program so my first day was Core. I really enjoy core because of the fast pace and variety of the exercises. I still struggle with some of the push ups and the dreya roll. I have really gotten better though since my first round of P 90X. I thought that since I finished one round of the P90X it would not be as challenging that's why I waited a while to restart but, let me tell you it is every bit as challenging and some. I am really taking my time this round and trying to perfect the moves.
The diet yesterday was ok. I was able to stick to a really good plan. I still need to work on the timing of the meals and to eat more often.
Hope everyone had a good workout.

I also thought the second round would be easier but it is not. My muscles ache!

I regret not checking my numbers 1 month ago, right at the end of my first round of P90X. Anyway, at the end of this second round I will remember to do that.

These are my starting numbers - second round

Weight 116
Arm R/L 10.5" / 10.2"
Chest 35"
Waist 27"
Hips 37.5"
Thighs R/L 21.2" / 20.5"
Calves 13" / 13"
Body fat 21.9%

In Central America for the rest of the week. Finished shoulders and arms with bands in the hotel room. I am not the biggest fan of the bands, but they work in a pinch. Good overall workout. Missed yoga due to lack of a place to workout. Cannot do yoga on ceramic tile.... Today is legs and back. I am hoping that tomorrow...different country....will have better workout facilities so that I can complete yoga. I feel that yoga is an essential part of the overall package...both strength and recovery into one.

Didn't get a chance to do all the measurements and such as I was heading out the door. Will do so on Saturday and use my week 1 results as the starting point.

Keep up the great work!!!!

JB

This week was successful for me. I worried that after having 4 wks of holiday it will be difficult to get back to the same routine... so I was very pleased when I managed to do a 20 mile hike on top of P90X exercise routine. It felt soooo good when I completed it.

I'm planning to sign up for a 30 mile Hong Kong Trail challenge which is in March.

I hope everyone is still pushing play and ENJOYING it!

Hi Everyone,

We have finished our 1st week. I hope everyone is feeling great. I was really impressed that even though I have completed one round of the P 90X it is still just as challenging. I am really trying to focus this round on getting through the routine with really good form when I do the exercises. The diet has been ok. I have been writing things down this time. It still needs to be tweaked out a lot.

Belita you are doing awesome, I can't believe you made it through after a 20 mile hike. That's wonderful keep up the good work.

I would like to challenge you all to really push yourself here in the second week. Let's make things really interesting. My challenge is for you to push through those exercises that are really rough for you and maybe add another 2 or 3 when Tony says max reps. Anyone up for the challenge.

Today is either our rest day or X Stretch. I would encourage you to do the X Stretch. It really helped me in round one. It is similar to the Yoga X and if you struggle with that one this will help your body start to adapt to the various moves in the Yoga X DVD.

Have a great week everyone and keep pushing play.

What are you guys doing for the meals? Are you following P90X plan or your own modified plan? I'm doing my own thing with tips from the P90X plan.
