5/26/08 Class 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago

I've noticed a few people mentioning their start date is 5/26/08 so I figured I'd make a thread for all the class members to log their information so we can continue up on our progress and keep eachother motivated for the full 90 days.
I'll go ahead and start --
My name is Coy and I will officially starting on May 26th. I'm 5'8" and around 190-195 (haven't weighed myself in awhile). I used to be heavily involved in sports and went to college and mastered the art of chugging a beer and all went downhill from there. Looking forward to get back to where I once was!

Great idea, Coy...
I'm Wade. Just turned 37, 6'-0", 175-180lbs. Former High School athlete, I was always a really thin guy as a young man, but more recently have put on some pounds. Looking forward to following the program as closely as possible, just to be the best "me" I can be.

Nice idea coy
My background - I'm currently 17 and about to graduate from highschool on June 9. I am 5'10" and weigh approximately 178 (recently weighed my self). Back during my freshman year, I have to admit I was a chunky monkey weighing roughly 190-195 lbs.I would say I was around 5'4" (short and round ). I look back to some of my old pictures, I don't have many as me and the camera do not get along very well (someday I hope we can be decent friends ) and I can gaurantee you that a freshman with that appearance is not cute!!! I started to increasingly grow so I decided to take the advantage to start doing my own workouts. I have to say I have came a long way but I need more support because I think I have hit that plateau effect. I find p90x the perfect solution to my research of that lean, bilked up, ripped body. Well that a little about me and can't wait to start.

hrmm..i started this tuesday...does that count?
HI!
I'm a 21 year old James. I'm 6'2" and I weigh approximately 245 pounds. whooo thats a lot! In high school, I played football and baskbetball. I was fairly active. Then during college, i was introduced to an $800 unrestricted food card + girlfriend (ex) + late night hunger = food + no time to work out + MORE FOOD at wrong times...this lasted until my junior year. Then my dad noticed that i was gaining too much weight, so he offered to buy me a car if i had lost a good amount. Beginning 2007 I worked my butt off. I lost about 40 pounds. I was pretty fit. I was able to run an average of 3.5 miles a day + weight lifting (about 250 reps a day) for 5 days a week. Then, after i got my car, i just lost interest again....so i gained about 15-20 pounds back Many days went by but on one particular day (last last saturday), i saw the p90x commercial and after watching that and doing some of my own research, i was sold SO here i am on DAY 4! YOGA BABY

Great idea Coy...I started about a week and half ago...but didn't want to be left out
I'm in my late 20's and use to be 5'0 and 230lbs. Big GIRL! But I lost a lot of weight on my own in high school and went to college. Where I also learned to chug beer and was awesome at beer pong! Oh and I grew a whole 4 inches I too put on some weight during school. I was a trainer for years and went back to school for physical therapy. Busy days and clinics...crazy hours...no sleep...just helped pile on a few more lbs! I have worked out a lot, but I'm just not pushing myself and I don't always eat the best. I'm fit, but don't really look it. Kinda puffy , but really strong. But I want to look strong! Anyway, I'm on week 2 and LOVE IT! I'm doing Doubles and my eating is going great.
WELCOME EVERYONE and good luck!!!!!! I suggest keeping a journal...it's a huge help...

I definitely plan on keeping a workout journal and may or may not start a nutrition journal. I think a nutrition journal would help new people with what other users eat, times they eat, and possibly even how they make it since that is probably my biggest concern for myself.
Speaking of beer pong.. its my last weekend of partying for at least 90 days!

Me too, Me Too!!
I started this Monday, I'm 6'0" 275, I was never an athlete due to surgeries on my legs, but used to throw freight and I've lifted people (patients) for the last 10 years or so. I am good at putting on size, but now I want to actually be fit.
got legs and back tonight, I think this ones gonna hurt.

Woo what a class for the 26th lol. Hello my name is Glenn, I'm 15 going on 16, freshmen going on Sophmore, and still a rookie only got to week 3(this week) and things kinda got hazy with my schedule. I'm 5'9 weight:Classified lmao. In the 200s, but am an athletic type of build except don't look much like it.
Thinking of trying lean, then classic, and lastly doubles!

Well, didn't realize the shipment would come so fast! Looks like I'll be starting this Monday instead of next Monday. Let's see--I'm short- 5'6" and weigh 180lbs. Played football and rugby in high school and even though I gained a bunch of weight in college I still was active and I didn't balloon up. Well, the last few years...different story!
Good news is I'm playing rugby again and it is now the off season and what better time to kick my own ass than during the off season? Looking forward to it.

Well I want to join you guys on the 26th but that is my B-day (21st to be exact) and I think I am going to wait until tuesday to start. Maybe I will just do two day in one. Anyways I am 6'2" and about 175 to 180 lbs. I was a runner and a swimmer in high school. I am looking to start swimming again and I really want to start doing some triathlons. I have always been the skiny kid and now that I have basically stopped growing I can start to get some muscle. So hopefully we all can stay movitated and keep ourselves going for the 90 days. I know I always get a little bored after about 3-4 weeks so I know I am going to need some help keeping the program going strong. Thanks for this idea of a class and helping each other out.

Hey everyone, I'm Dan. I posted in another thread, but I'll post here too. I'm 34, 5'11", 200 lbs. I've been able to maintain my strength (somewhat) and cardio since I stopped going to the gym, but I'm nowhere near where I would like to be. I used to be a soccer and vollyball player way back in my HS days, I think I was about 150 lbs when I graduated, then came college and well...you know how that story goes. I managed to get in pretty good shape a few years ago in a relatively short period of time , so I know that my body can respond if given the chance. However, I enjoy beer, pizza and wings, so saying goodbye to those things will be tougher than the plyo routine at first. Nevertheless, I'm making it a point to commit. T-minus 24hrs and a wake up folks.
Good luck to everyone.

I'm pretty sure i indicated I'd be in for the 5/26 group somewhere else, but it looks like this is the official thread.
25 YO male, 5'11" 185. I'm a runner, but want to work on my core strength and flexibility and to hopefully drop a little body fat.
