Im in Day 45, the half way point. So far, I have lost 18pds, and 6% body fat. I look good, and feel great. My question is that in the evening hours, my body looks flappy, but in the morning it looks ripped, and tone. Is this the effect of 60+ ounces of water a day? Do I need to cut back on the H2O?

The thing I am most proud of, is in 45 days, I have not had one soda, not one potatoe chip, and not a single fried food.

Wow, to lose 18lbs that fast is amazing. I doubt the flappy look is from h2o though. You can never have too much water (at least to a point). It's probably the food you're eating, whatever you're doing, etc. In the morning you're body is essentially "starved" so I think you always look your best right when you get up.

Carbs hold more water in your system, making you look bloated. Once the excess carbs burn off, then you get a more defined look. You can try cutting back on the grams of carbs you are eating per day and lookout for breads that have a high sugar content, because those can also make you retain water, giving you a bloated look.

Those people you see on the front of fitness and muscle magazines usually deprive themselves of water and carbs the day before a photo shoot so they get that really ripped look you are talking about.
